Excellent MIni Clubman review .
I know the comparisons with the VW Golf but for me personally, I would never have or consider a VW Golf. For me, there is just no comparison. Mini is so much more of a car than the VW Golf. But to each his own.
It's a huge improvement over the old Clubman, this one has a lot of character and should sell well.

+Firemarioflower The design in its segment is crucial, this one is a small station wagon with barn doors and it's better executed then let's say the Fiat 500L.
The previous Clubman was too ridiculous to appeal to a wider audience.
About the driving dynamics, I'm sure they are good with or without adaptive dumpers.
And it's not a Golf or Focus rival, Mini goes head to head versus the Fiat 500. For the person that wants something in that style, there is nothing else.

I can't agree on the ride quality or the wind noise at speed comment, its very quiet and refined, a very very good car, way more interesting and fun than a Golf

its just me or,, i see this car like old morgue car from side
Just a wee request - i recently had to drop my 3 series in favour of a Citroen c4 Picasso because it was one of the few vehicles that i could fit 3 car seats across the middle/back row. Had a toddler, due twins. I was gutted at how few suvs accommodated child seats in this configuration. Considering that many are supposed to be a desirable alternative to mpvs this seems to be a massive oversight and a market opportunity missed. Would love to see a video to this effect.
considering your current rate of reproduction I'd go for a Ford Transit in 15-seater configuration.
I did look at a vivaro crew van - shame it doesn't come with isofix!

That split rear door reminds me of an ambulance.
I don't know why (in my own opinion) wind and tire noise is that important. To me, less wind and tire noise could spell problem. It's important to hear things outside especially if you have a little bit of a problem hearing things. The quieter the car the less you hear things outside. I wan't my senses enhance for security.
Wind and tyre noise is tiring. A nice quiet ride please!
