AR - Arithmetic Reasoning
WK - Word Knowledge
PC - Paragraph Comprehension
MK - Mathematics Knowledge
GS - General Science
NO - Numerical Operations
CS - Coding Speed
AS - Auto and Shop Information
MC - Mechanical Comprehension
EI - Electronics Information
VE = WK + PC
Line Scores:
CL - Clerical: VE + AR + MK
CO - Combat: AR + CS + AS + MC
EL - Electronics: GS + AR + MK + EI
FA - Field Artillery: AR + CS + MK + MC
GM - General Maintenance: GS + AS + MK + EI
GT - General Technical: VE + AR
MM - Mechanical Maintenance: NO + AS + MC + EI
OF - Operators and Food: VE + NO + AS + MC
SC - Surveillance and Communications: VE + AR + AS + MC
ST - Skilled TEchnical: GS + VE + MK + MC

I believe it has changed massively now at least for qualifying for navy seals, they only care about your combined score from certain categories not just the line score
They're giving us this in our school. Made a 91 the first time, scared I won't do as well this time
My recruiter send me to meps within a week after seeing him.... I fked up so bad because I didn't eat all day and I felt like dying in that 3 hr of sitting there.
My strategy was not eating anything that would possibly irritate my stomach, no caffeine, no sugars and a positive attitude.

What about a military translator for USMC ?
Hi so I got a 96 on my AFQT percentile score for PICAT. And I have to do a verfication at Meps, my question is on that verification, do they only ask AFQT questions since officers only focus on AFQT or everything as a whole? Thanks
On the Army website it says combat: Word Knowledge Paragraph Comprehension, Auto & Shop and Mechanical comprehension. Should I follow this or should I follow what the Army website is saying?

I wish u had uploaded this a year ago when I tried to take it also u forgot to mention the part where u have to take the test twice if u fail if the first time just to confirm that the person didn’t cheat I think that’s dumb but what can u do u feel me lol
Also navy is 32 but they can change the score anytime they want :(

Hello, to qualify for the Navy SEAL, you need a minimum GT score of 110 (WK + PC + AR)
Or just be frank castle
So I took the test twice and hella failed. I waited too long after high school 😂

When I took mine, I scored a 97. But I couldn't get in because my eyes were too bad.
Good job! That's a very good score! Regarding your vision, did MEPS deem your eyes not fit for the service? Or was it a doctor outside of the military? I would go to MEPS and get a second opinion. Good luck!
@@officercandidate5415 I was so nearsighted, as deemed by an eye doctor at the MEPS station. They tried running it up the chain, but they wouldn't let me in. I guess everything happens for a reason.

@@ashleechalise I personally didn't practice. Just went in off the street and took it. I never even knew you COULD practice for it.
Officer Candidate my daughter took the ASVAB got a 56 but wants to take it again. What’s the very best online study service I could buy her that’s top notch as there are many I wanna give her the best opportunity. She already enlisted in the AF she wants Aerospace medical and did qualify but her recruiter says she has a 10% chance of getting that job. She wants to get a higher score for Cyber security
They changed the Minimum Requirements. It is 31 Minimum for all Branches Now.
I I thought your supposed to make a 31 for the Marines.
Talked to my recruiter today. He said 31.

I just graduated high school and decided not to study in order to truly see where I am, my memorization is so good that studying only benefits me for that day I take the test.
