I am an Independent so, I don't vote on party lines but I do lean right. That said, Trump has been going around for months saying that the US was 'very peaceful' when he was president. I don't know where he was for weeks on end but during his presidency, I personally drove down streets various times the following day after riots. Melrose being one of the worst. There were businesses torched into ruins. The street (a long one) had the military guarding it. People that are naturally criminals were going off about the use of military on city streets. That is the kind of unrest before, during and after this so-called peaceful nonsense. Now, I do lean right and I have to say that the demented DA, mayor (now instead of being fired from any and all government jobs got a cushy rep job in India. Gardouchetti (as termed by me). Libs celebrate crime with no accountability, but I will say, a lot of unrest while D.T. was in office. (edit for typo and repeat word).
And who's fault is that? It's the state governments fault! In Florida, there were hardly any riots and we have plenty of Metropolitan areas (Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, etc). Ron DeSantis laid down the frame work to prevent rioting and criminalize it and ultimately they didn't happen. Most states that had "civil unrest" were states that refused to bring the National Guard, with a lot of the governors playing politics to blame Trump for it. But as always, Trump gets blamed for everything under the sun. If you aren't making enough money to survive in 2024, it's Trump's fault. That's weird logic.
