    Thank you so much for the review! You are the only person with the ada500 and 3k ips display spec. Can you report on the fan noise for medium load (20 tabs, Microsoft office, light to medium coding, teams, slack/discord). If in balance mode would the fans spin too much? Also, battery life for such use case with 65% brightness. Thank you so much!

    Wow, you're thorough. Great review. A small, purely cosmetic correction for 8:27 -- it isn't the TrackPad that comes with those physical buttons, it's the TrackPoint nipple. Those buttons are designed for the thumbs of home-row typers who use the TrackPoint as their mouse. The TrackPad used to have its own dedicated physical buttons integrated into the actual TrackPad assembly itself, but Lenovo took them from us after the P53/P73. No phone call. No text. Just, poof, no more dedicated TrackPad buttons. Very much looking forward to your AMD vs. Intel comparison. I'm especially curious to see what AMD's 14" display looks like side by side with the Intel's 14.5".

    I got a lower specs than yours (lower storage and ram, and using IPS panel) and am very happy with my purchase. Still eager to watch the review!

    I can't wait to buy in 2030 for a fraction of the price, the future looks promising unless ww3 happens then it wouldn't matter. Looking forward for the comparison review video, keep'em coming Joel !

    I am glad you made a review about the Intel mode. I think the body is actually made out of magnesium unlike absolutely crappy t14 gen 5/p14 AMD. I was so disappointed when I got mine I returned the very same day! I think p14 gen 5 intel is the only somewhat of a decent thinkpad now since you it has some upgradability and still has a decent build quality. Also, consider reviewing some of the Zbooks, especially the Firefly G10 A. My colleague got one of these with Ryzen 9 and an amazing 1600p@120hz display.

      Do t14 gen5 and p14s gen5 amd make off carbon fiber? I think carbon fiber looks better and touch feeling better. If I drop laptop on the ground, will there be bumpy on carbon fiber or magnesium?

      @@Simon-kz4dv Whatever they call it, it's plastic at the end of the day. The only magnesium part in t14g5 is a pretty thin plate of magnesium in the center of the palmrest. The bottom cover and the lid are plastic. Some people say it's reinforced plastic, but holy heavens, it's plastic and it feels like it. The aluminum (silver) model actually uses aluminum for both the lid and the bottom cover, but it is not available everywhere.

      The top is aluminum, and I think the bottom is magnesium. I have one and it’s so solid feeling

    I’m an engineering student and I’ve been very interested in the P14s because it has ISV certifications for applications like solidworks. I’m mostly stuck between the AMD and Intel versions for the integrated vs dedicated graphics, and I’m not sure if the additional cost is worth it. Also I don’t see myself needing to use 64GB of ram on a laptop, and I think 32GB is sufficient for the work I do

      @@Raptor-eg6zf You can't go wrong with either one, really. I hope my upcoming comparison video helps you become "unstuck."
      Also, here's a link to a refurbished lot of this Intel model for just about $1,000 USD, directly from Lenovo:

    Can you measure its loudness under average load pls?

      @Slap_Tech  4 дні тому

      @@Flyboard12345 To me, "average load" means web browsing and Office work. For those tasks, it should definitely be set to Energy Saver mode, where the fans can only spin at the slowest, most subdued speed. There's plenty of CPU power to go around in Energy Saver for that usage scenario.
