Looks like the weather was nice to go. We seem to enjoy Sitka over Skagway. It just seems like it has not lost it’s small town feeling. Thanks again and hope you all had a good time
We talk to a few people in a few of the ports in Alaska and they say this was unusual weather which we will take since we never cruise out of Alaska. Juneau was awesome, we loved Sitka but in Skagway, it was a tourist trap. Be careful because some of the people are very rude regarding the venues but they have a great shopping there so don’t forget to do that in that port. Thank you for watching 🤗

Ours didn’t go to Sitka so wanted to check out what Sitka is all about and stumble across your your video. But nice! We were cruising at the same time. I believe we saw the Ovation in Skagway. We were right in front of it! :)
Arriving on Norwegian in August (Sitka on a Monday)...where does the shuttle from the cruise port leave you?...how far is the raptor center if you cut through the historic park?....how far is the park from where they drop you off?...sorry for so many questions, how much admission to the raptor center
We only have 13 miles of road from one of town to the other. I live on the island across from the lighthouse. Gotta always stop to see the real Ramon at the Westmark hotel when ever your in Sitka.

How long did you wait in the shuttle line up to town and back? At the raptor center, were you able to touch any of the birds?

Advised everyone do not get off at the same same time as everyone does, and you will not have to wait in that line

How long was the walk from town to the raptors ?
