SHARE!!! Just reported from a whistleblower::
What your not hearing from our local government
I just got out of a meeting where I was informed by someone in the Mayors office about developments that are being kept from the public. I am not a conspiracy theorist and I don’t want to make trouble but here’s what I’ve heard.
The amount of fatalities is expected to be more than 500 but less than 1000.
Many of the fatalities will be children who were at home because they canceled school. Parents worked and were not there to evacuate the children. Kids had no idea they needed to leave and by the time they noticed their homes or apartments were on fire, it was too late.
The government is worried about how we will react when we learn that the fire department left the fire earlier in the day and claimed it was 100% contained knowing that the winds were expected to be 70mph by the afternoon. This is against all fire control protocols. The fire department should not have left the original fire unattended. They are scared that the public calls for accountability will be more than they can control and protests and riots will occur.
They plan to lock down Lahaina for several months. It will take months to clean up the hazardous and environmental contamination. They won’t have enough housing for
      All the displaced.
There were 2,000 unaccounted for this morning. They have a list where they are trying to keep track. They found 700 today. But there are still 1300 missing.
They are very worried that the community is going to freak out when they find out how not a single fire truck responded to the fires. The emergency sirens were not activated (hurricane sirens) and loss of life could have been kept down by better emergency management which utterly failed.
I’m not trying to make waves or stir up problems but I was so angry and sad when I found out how many children are dead that I knew I had to post this and let everyone know what I have learned.
It’s time for our officials to stand up, tell the truth, and face the music. They failed Lāhainā guys. Our government is full of incompetent nepotism. The fire chief is the son of the former fire chief. We need to hold officials accountable for the mistakes they made.
Please don’t hate the messenger. I’m just relaying what I learned today.
God bless Maui and Lahaina! Pray for all the victims.

Depending on where the fire started there might not have been more than a couple minutes from ignition until conflagration -- given the near hurricane winds, there was not going to be much time. The truly horrifying thing is that this was not a small town, the population of 13K+ is bigger than many towns or even cities elsewhere in the lower 48. I checked to see what the prevailing wind direction is and it says 80% from the north and east -- that a lot different than most places in the lower 48 where the prevailing winds are mostly from the west. The fact that Lahaina is on the west coast of Maui and the winds coming from the east or north-east would blow from the escape routes towards the ocean and I'd bet that played a role in people getting caught in there cars.

Should they have evacuated the whole island and if so were too. Remember fires hit all over Maui from Kihei to up country Kula. You know that anyone can tell me the correct score after a game, but if you want to impress me tell me the score before the game starts. Instead of using your hands to point fingers, put them together and pray and then use them to help these people get there lives back.

Sorry to ruffe your feathers but it is funny no clevertity home was destroy there at all...none. But getting back to my point the people themselves say there was no warning at all. This is unacceptance. If you have any information that could have save lives spread the information. So tell me this if you had any warning that a fire was started in your home or business and you was there do you just stay and hope you put it out especially if it looks like it is hopeless...nope. You run. Most people tried to escape by cars but guess what it was a traffic jam. Many people died in their cars. Some people ran toward the water which if I had time would have done. Someone has to take blame for this and at the same time help the people too. This should never ever happen again there. Warn the people...period@@joetavares8716

Get real! Maui is a small place unprepared for this. Why aren’t you showing how fast fire can spread in 60-80 mph winds through drought dried plants, houses built of wood, electric lines down starting more fires, creosote soaked docks and buildings. My question: Where were you NEWS all these years while Emergency Resources BUDGETS were lowered made less and less effective as populations grew/grow. Where are you when Scientists warned of poor land use, less rain, global catastrophic Climate change. If hundreds turned on their hoses hoping to put out or avoid the fire-water in the pipes feeding hydrants would automatically lower. Then consider water lines added to sugarcane fields taking water from lines serving the towns. Not enough fire trucks and fire fighters as budgets reduced. Same with newer larger water lines. Private resorts given tax breaks yet adding onto burden placed on the area’s lagging Emergency Services . The comment about Journalists not allowed into areas was at least followed by information about asbestos and toxins. BEST would be showing on screen for a longer than typical time phone numbers, addresses where help can be found. There are groups beginning to have money from donations to give directly to people for rent, paying employees. I live in Hurricane land where help comes at different speeds after easy or difficult procedures. I’m sure the Gov. will be blamed because people aren’t immediately getting money promised. I’m sure he’s hiding it in a secret warehouse to be handed out immediately. If he could, he would.
Point is: the current ideas are immediate self-gratification in a world pretty much still struggling with day to day situations.
    For most people, that is.
Now would be a good time to remind viewers to know their community’s disaster and evacuation plan as well as ways to self-prepare for such events. Saying this, even the best preparation isn’t enough at times. 😢😢 for Maui.

the impact of the fire IS devastating enough, and NO ONE wants to add to the horror of it, but questions DO need to be asked and DO need to be answered. there are too many factors involved that need scrutiny.
almost instantly the governor made his pronouncements, it was all about being 'net zero', about running everything digitally (AI), etc, etc, all from the WEF playbook.
a book listed on amazon 2-3 days later (fire and fury) purporting to be comprehensive analysis of what happened, including eye witness testimony from locals, on the spot journalism (when even local journalists were not allowed to go in). this seems to me to show remarkable writting skills on the part of the author, and even astounding skills on the part of the publisher.
so, the text alerts didn't get through, and the alarm system failed. i would suggest this may be a warning about putting all of your eggs in the AI basket, but would also ask, does that mean that the text alerts and alarm system was hit FIRST, or was everything hit simultaneously? either way it is an astonishing stroke of extreme bad luck.
the level of destruction, buidings rendered to dust, glass liquified, yet tarmac seemingly untouched, the footage at 11.15 shows a number of wholly destroyed vehicles, one of which sits under a tree. that tree does not have so much as a scorch mark, and a lot of that wood is little more than kindling in thickness. how can that be.

So tragic and inexcusable that Maui County's elected officials are climate loons that were more concerned with filing lawsuits against fossil fuel companies over non-existent climate change impact and making time to make an official resolution supporting the Paris Climate Accord but had no concerns over and no desire to ensure Maui County had adequate fire prevention, fire mitigation and firefighting capabilities in place.

So sad that apparently so many people were affected in this disaster. It's hard to conceive of all those poor victims trapped behind the fire lines. It looks l like the cell towers were damaged/destroyed so fast that there wasn't time to get emergency messages out to those who needed to know. I hope they realize that most have been able to get out in time and just aren't able to easily communicate right now.
That interview paints a picture of such a fast moving wall of fire that's terrifying to think about.
I'm glad Oprah is able to offer folks in the shelter some kindness. Maybe she'll be able to help with some $$ as well.
With a supposed net worth of 2.5 BILLION dollars she could def do a lot of good if she was so inclined.
That business owner from Down The Hatch handing his people money is what I hope we hear more of. There are clearly a lot of extremely wealthy individuals in that paradise. I don't even know how working class folks can afford to live in that place!
It seems like a very difficult place for anyone in the service industry to be able to afford to live and work.

    27. But the day of the Lord will come LIKE A THIEF IN THE NIGHT, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. 1 Peter 3.10 - 12

Lahaina should be rebuilt differently. The buildings should be built out of concrete. They were the only buildings left standing after the fire. Wider streets that will make functional fire breaks in the future. So this devastating situation will not happen to this extent in the future.

    • @NekeishaWise
      @NekeishaWise Рік тому

@@memenstein1754 It is very much possible that a city is filled with sinners. Remember the story about Noah when he built the ark? He tried to warn the people, but they wouldn’t listen. God actually wanted to save those people, but they would not listen. A lot of that applies today. When we are separated from God, it becomes harder to hear His voice. It becomes harder to acknowledge Him. We have to have Him as THE power source. Now, there are sinners that were saved. They were given another chance at salvation. Have you ever thought about the possibility that God didn’t do this? That satan himself did? People truly do have free will, unless it has to do with a variety of other things.

They WANT to come in, look for their dead and maybe salvage some belongings. Please train them on the basics of search and recovery! THEN GEAR THEM UP, LET THEM IN!

Obviously, there is no leader in our Military Command that is prepared to give the order to provide help & disaster relief operations during and after this conflagration in Lahaina. It looks like Joe Biden and Defence Sec. Lloyd Austin are both AWOL! And where were the local leaders in Lahaina during the ferocious fires (e.g. the Mayor, the local fire Chief, the Emergency Services Team) and why was the emergency alarm system not turned on? A thorough investigation in this incident is definitely required as there might have been a serious CRIME committed in here.
