They never even sprayed *starter fluid* in spark plug hole to see if it would start. I Always spray starter fluid first. been a mechanic all of my life fixing anything with an engine or motor. I buy sell and fix motorcycles scooters and mopeds even electric bikes all of my life. Also I ride them every day in NYC. The fuel valves go bad all the time they have a diaphragm inside that goes bad and there is a air line that runs to it that goes bad. And the auto chokes also go bad.. Amazing how he started taking apart whole scooter all he had to do is spray starter fluid even in carburetor.. to see if it starts up. Anyway I like your videos on scooters. Big thumbs up.

Hey Got Question I Got Spark And My 50cc Gas TaoTao Scooter All Light's Come On But How Will I Know My Starter Clutch And Starter Motor Is Bad And The Carburetor? Respect U What U Said About Being A Mechanic And Riding Them Ur Hold Life. It Get Gas Just Want Turn Over. It's Making A Clicking Sound.
It could be any thing like bad gas sticky in the Carburator or like mine burnt stuff all on the pistons try to bring it in shop mostly all the repairs are like $75 especially on the 50cc
Come on you check electricity now check gas flow , check the cab
Finally there’s a another transpro 50cc video on YT , there’s only a few videos like this on here , this video helps on how to do the simple diagnosis like spark plugs,battery, carburetor etc , I have hit the 1000miles mark and I know I’m going to have to start maintenance to keep this scooter up and running

There is a 125 transpro for sale near me for a grand. Its a 2022 with 900 miles.
😢🤬 they knew it was the carburetor, but they insisted on going in the engine. They steered away from the carb didnt even try starter fluid smh they probably hoped you would leave the bike there smh 🤦♂️
The valves did look burnt and he checked the carburator before he cracked the engine open anyway I sold it for $200 after it was fixed

Water got into carb from rain now it won't start. I had to many problems with this bike😢
150cc Marshall was doing the same thing kept cutting off on me sometimes it wouldn't start up just like that one I sold it for 900
If it cuts off like 30 40 min. After riding it could be the little CDI box
I guess getting a free broken gas powered Scooter makes for good content, at least. I'm following up to see what was wrong with it. Once you get it fixed, I'm sure you will be able to sell it for at least what it costs to fix it, even without the title.

those 50cc is down bad i had two of those already one stopped working n the china man said didnt have no part it wasnt spark plug but some metal piece broke inside newr the engine and my other 50cc frame snapped in half wen i hit a pothole the shop welded it but it was dancing on the ground still kissing the ground as i ride
They made with cheap materials like cheap metals when you got something this heavy with moving parts cheap metal is not the best way to go a higher quality metal will solve all that but it comes Ata price tag like 3x as much
Is it possible to get a title for it?
It's easier if the title is already in ya name if not it's like dam near impossible if it's in ya name you can just go back to the store and request one

Yo my man I got the same bike and I take care of it oil,gas ,gear oil and ethanol remover and b12 to clear the carb. The only thing is the bike don't like roads under construction and causes problems.

Man don’t go back to that mechanic anymore. He should have not pulled that whole scooter apart like that damn🤦🏾!!!!!!!!! The way it sounded. It was either a bad ignition coil which he was playing with they still shoot fire when they are bad, bad carburetor, Or a bad CDI,

Drop pt3 so far I checked the spark plugs , fuel and now im going to do a oil change (10w40) Mobil to see if that works

Hey man im from L.I & im looking into getting a 50cc moped to commute to work & back roads etc never had a moped before & was thinking of getting a gas one. Is there a brand you would recommend ? Also are there things that i need to keep in mind as a moped owner, or maybe electric i dont know🤷🏽♂️.

@@Ryan-yj3ce if it goes over 30 mph and gas a Permit is at least required most cyclist just have a permit and believe it or not alot have none nothing

@Ryan in New York you must obtain a Lerners Permit to Acuire a Driver's Lic. A Permit is Written test A Drivers license is a Road test that's how they do in NY Permit first then you get a license
