- I show you some of the best PC games from the 2000s that any PC can run (hopefully everyone can run these games), but I think many can even enjoy these fantastic games with a monster RTX graphics card. Please note that the games are not ranked and many good games are not on the list; this is not because they are not good or I don't like them, but because I tried to showcase some lesser-known games as well. so If your favorite low end pc game isn't on the list, let us know in the comments! @@rycerzwczerwonychdresach2896 Yeah ps2 era of nfs games was the best, Undergrond 2 was my favourite! (although i love Shift and Shift 2 even more, but these are NFS in name only, and i rather consider them a part of Project Cars series, they were made by the same studio). But older games are also my favourite. PS2 and Xbox 360 are my favourite consoles, it's crazy how many awesome titles were made back then. Obviously same goes for pc games from that period. Modern Warfare aka cod4 came out in 2007.

My PC isn't that bad, but I sometimes watch this channel just to see if I'll find some cool hidden gem that I may have missed growing up, or games from my childhood that I forgot about. I've grown tired of modern games.
Me too, It seems older games are more fun to play, was playing return to castle wolfenstein recently... had a lot of fun with it.

old games are lost gem. no dlc,no need to patches,no loot boxes,no cosmetics,no micro transaction and premium passes

If I pay them, they give me 100% of the content. Those were the days. There was DLC for some games, but it only added more fun to a 100% game.
2000s were a completely different era if we want to compare them to the present

The best era in gaming is now so cheap than anyone can play them, cheaper than paying the console versions too

Chrome was such an underrated game. I wish it get more attention because it was an awesome game with huge maps which you could explore without being forced to follow certain path in order to complete the mission.
I played it a lot as a kid, I'm surprised its not well-known today TBH. The soundtrack was great as well.

I generally create content for low-end gamers, helping them find games that are less-known and don't require a NASA PC to run. Of course, this can also be nostalgic if you're older person or simply enjoy older games.

God damn it this content... so bloody nostalgic... It made me fly to my childhood memories for the first time I play games, and it was Praetorians, Age of Empires II, Call of Duty 2, and Brothers in arms Earned in Blood. Good old bloody times 🥲
Gran Prix Legends is actually best historical F1 sim even today in my opinion

The footage shown for Toca Race Driver 3 is actually from the game Driver3. Very different games
Driver 3 and Driver 3 can easily be confused with tired eyes, but fortunately, both games are quite popular, so everyone knows that I made a mistake.

Even if some of them aged bad in terms of graphics, on pure "fun" and entertainment part most of them are 100% better than the AAA we have today. What's impress me most is the incredible variety of genres, whereas today every game seems to have the same formula. 2000-2010 was truly the golden age of videogames!
agree 100%. I think the last send off for this generation was in 2013 where we got GTA V and ARMA 3. It went downhill after that, probably only RDR2 that was exceptional.

it's just that most games now are free-to-play games and fps/online games. And a lot of mobile games and commercial stuff. But among the very good games they are way better than the games of the 2000's. Even just indie games can be very pretty, artistic etc
Now you have some games where it went downhill because they focused way too much on graphics and not physics. Like Watch dogs 2 (2016) or Cyberpunk (2020) have lower quality physics than GTA IV (2008)
I love older games because most of today's games are soulless 😥
@@2killnspray9 You know those UA-camr guys who compared the physics of GTA 4 to CP 2077? They did it just for views and money. But honestly, it doesn't make sense to question why CP 2077's physics isn't as good as GTA's. Who cares about physics in a game where you spend 80% of the time reading and only 20% shooting?

I disable the 'video preview' in the video editor because it demands too much RAM for After Effects - my PC is a potato*

Great video sir, but you got Driv3r instead of Toca Racing Driver 3, and you put Command & Conquer 3 twice by mistake! Nonetheless, it was great indeed. Good to know what games can be ran in low end PCs.

I always thought Area 51 would be a good action horror game to remake with todays technology. Pretty cool game back in the day.

I got a lot of games for free. I remember, back in the day, when we used to get bonus CDs with gaming magazines. They often had full games for free, demos, and other stuff on them.

✔Those were still GAMEs, no pay to progress, early access since 200000bc years, lootbox ,skinbuy , always online nonsense, life as a service games.
🤷🏻♂I'm not saying that all of these games were really great. No . But at least there were GAMES to play and have fun with.
😵Also crazy to see: Today almost all of them would certainly pass as indie studios, Steam free games, if you didn't know that some of them are 20+ years old.

Yes, I've made many videos over the years, which is why in my current video, I'm featuring lesser-known (budget games), as I don't want to repeat the same games.
Its a crime not having Killing Floor 1 on this list..
Since the video focuses more on lesser-known games, I left out Killing Floor, as well as many other good games.
Gunman Chronicles is a great old game, idk if it's on here or not.
Chrome was so cool, especially with the dinosaurs.

Childhood memories
The very first clip (Grand Prix 4) is actually a modded version of the game Grand Prix Legends and not GP4 at all.
Holy crap, X blades. I remember playing that game years ago but never finishing it, I should probably give it another go.
You Are Empty is another weird game, I should play that one too again, iirc the dev wanted it to feel like Half-Life. The environments were nice from what I remember.

Toca 3 and Driver 3 can easily get mixed up when your eyes are tired, as I've mentioned in response to other comments. I edited this video until the early hours of the morning, but it's lucky that both Toca 3 and Driver 3 are popular enough for you to recognize them, man 😘

Was looking for an old game, which name I can't recall, but only the disc cover: big heavy night is looking at you, holding two handed sword, he has no helmet though and has long hair.
After hours of searching got no luck😄
Remember it was a top down view game, with this guy as a main character, and you can use other battle units with him as well
