Hi can you tell please how I word test solenoid to see if it's gone bad.I have heston blumenthal toaster but leaver won't stay down any help word be great thanks
activate the contact points by pushing the lever down and if the solenoid is working it will produce a magnetic effect. test that by using a screwdriver head.
Easy when all you have is Philips type screws, but my Kenwood is fixed with just two weird looking dome shape screws surrounded by indents. Need a special socket type tool, that can't be found anywhere. Basterds!
now kronk knows how to fix a lever problem
Thank you.
My man! this worked! Just saved me 50 quid, have a like on me
My cuisinart toaster has lever knobs that won’t come off. Therefore I cannot take the top cover off😢
