The concept with the gas, which is a chemical substance that manipulate just about almost anything. So alternating one's cognitive thinking isn't that far fetched. Considering it is a gas so regardless if they love or not love their kids they will still longer for "revenge" I genuinely can see parents out turning their kids considering how miserable American parents are.

He passed out twice, got hit with a knife in the cheek, but still helped them.
He could’ve easily run, as he was not the main target of the parents. But didn’t.
I'm glad he survived, but I would prefer if the way Kendal was knocked out was by her mother-in-law putting a knife in her boob from behind, and when Kendal shoves the grandma in front of the car, the grandma continue to hold the knife spreading the wound to the other boob. When Carly comes back up, Kendal is about to beat Carly again, but bleeds out. Damon still wakes up and helps tie up the parents bandaging them. Carly asks about her maternal grandparents, and it cuts to the great grandma cutting their breaks of the car.
This took "my parents are gonna kill me" to a whole new level

Controversial opinion maybe, parents should start owning up for their change in lifestyle and not blaming it on the kids. After all, unless the pregnancy was a mistake/accident, it was their choice to have kids and they have to deal with the consequences/change in lifestyles that thatll come with. Of course it's normal for parents to have a hard time, parenting is difficult, but blaming it on the kids is wrong and damaging.
The reason condoms exist is to stop accidental pregnancies.
I don’t think this opinion is controversial at all. To be a parent means to be selfless, you are putting another life above your own because it is your responsibility. Even unplanned pregnancies don’t mean it wasn’t the parent’s choice to have kids, because when you engage in the act of consensual sex, you understand that pregnancy is always a risk you are taking on (even with use of contraceptives, pregnancy prevention is never 100%)
@@sarahrose1119 I would also add that choosing to not be a parent isn't an inherently selfish choice. Some people just recognize for one reason or another they don't want to be parents and choose not to. Even with the risk of an unplanned pregnancy, there are (or in some cases was in light of recent events) ways for people to prevent themselves from having a child. People make mistakes, and urges comes and go. There can also be parents out there who act selfishly as well, and albeit it's not the majority, having children is not an automatic notion of being selfless.
Another side of that though is people who get pregnant young, not realizing exactly how much it’ll change their lives. I feel like younger parents are more likely to grow up feeling like they ruined their lives by having a kid, and may somewhat resent their children. Probably still love them though, just wish they had waited
