You can make the dunkaro icing by mixing together 2 vanilla icing containers and a box of funfetti cake mix. I am not sure if they sell them in the usa but here in canada we can by teddy gram cookies which are practically the same as the dunkaro cookies.
OK so I might be a bit older than you two (I'm a kid of the 80s), but in my days, when I was a kid, pizzas had a little bun in the middle to hold the top of the pizza box. We use to fight over who would get the bun... That little thing was soooooo good!!
Awww, Mary. It is so wonderful to see you smiling and laughing.....truly heartwarming! I don’t have paw prints of our babies on the fridge which, I must say, is cuteness personified. We do, however, have photos of each one on our fridge 😘🐱🐱🐱 I am sorry guys but the late 70’s and early 80’s was my “jam”.....a lot of good memories but also many life lessons learned. I really hope that you are able to find Dunkaroos, Mary. Even just to see if they still taste as you remember them. Enjoy the rest of your weekend! 🤗❤️❤️🙏🏼😘🐕🐱
Knowing we do our grocery pickups at the same stores (Walmart and Aldi) makes me feel so cool for no reason lol. Also, most dollar trees sell mondos lol! The blue and red are SUPREME to purple!
I never heard of those drinks but I was in highschool in the early 90s. Revisiting your childhood memories is always fun especially when your with someone who appreciates it too.
It does my heart good to watch your videos. Been watching for a long time. Mary is so much better than she was even just a year ago. So glad you found meds that helped! Take Care!
Shavuot Tov, Guys! It’s been a lovely peaceful Shabbat here in London. Tomorrow we’re going to swing by a garden centre to try and replace our spade and rake.... xxxxxxxx
OH MY GOSH THOSE HUG BARRELS FOR SURE AT ALMOST EVERY COOK OUT AWESOME THROW BACK🤗 THEN THERE WERE THE PURPLE AND PINK NURDS AND LEMON HEADS 🤗. OH THE LIST CAN GO ON🤗🥰 THANK YOU MARY AND PETER GOR GIVING US AN AWESOME THROWBACK 90S FREY FAM TODAY 💜💜🐾🐾
I think I was born the same year as Mary, but I don't remember most of her '90s items. Maybe because I was homeschooled in a very rural area. But she has so much fun!😁
Hi guys you gave me flashbacks to the 90s with the pizza white plastic piece that prevents cheese sticking to the box when I was little I used them as tables for my Barbie's tea parties 😀
Lol Peter's real first reaction to the fantastic 90's drink! Lol 😆 omg I just burst out laughing. He really didn't care for that. Lol haha. What a reaction!! Lol I love it. Thanks for making me laugh!!
My one cat is obsessed with licking plastic packets for some reason... I always have to make sure that I put them away so that she doesn't swallow any pieces or anything.
I remember those drinks from my childhood. I grew up in the eighties and I remember being five years old and trying to twist off the plastic top. I remember the barrel drinks as well. You guys were too 😍 as kids. Im a pre school teacher and I really miss my kids. Harry did you have fun exploring the cabinet? Your dinner once again out did mine. Tomorrow Im making Tilapia fish with vegetables and sweet potatoes. That boat going to be fantastic at night with those lights on it Peter. It's the first day of summer. Great 🎥 I'll see yall tomorrow god bless.
Mary, at 73 my childhood foods were what my mother cooked. We were a lucky family. Our mother was a faboulous cook. We came home for lunch from school and dad from work. She always had a great desert. Sweets were not my favorite. I think because i dont like them after a meal. Everything was fresh in 40s snd 50s which makes food way better. There was no food that she didntperfect. She used napkins and made the table nice and neat. Peter i think my favorite nowbbn is Pizzahut i love pizza and their bread sticks are so good. Never drank alcohol so sweet tea or coke. Yes im southern. Yall are my favorite kids i dont know. My loss
I honestly only have small snatches of memories from the 90s because I was 11 in 1990 and my dad died that September so I pretty much shut down for 13 years. Cancer sux.
Hahahahaha ha.....there are so many things in this video that made me actually laugh out loud (....and talk to my screen )....That was such a fun vlog 🥳🤓
Eek! I loved dunkaroos! They were one of my favorite snacks growing up. I grew up in Canada, and I honestly think I’ve been craving ketchup flavored potato chips for a few years now. I haven’t had them since 2010 when I found them once in Brussels.
I grew up in the 90s and absolutely loved it lol... even now i listen to 90s music and love the films. My fave food was nerds, black jacks also ....allways loved anaseed balls to.... drinks wise sunny d was a fave and coke theese days its more water and tea haha
Back in the late 90s and early 2000s I sold industrial orange and vegetable fresh squeezed juicing machines to supermarkets and restaurants. We called that juice you purchased belly wash. By the way, when we brought our golden doodle back from the vets earlier this week freshly groomed he looked like Oliver’s 12-year-old grandfather and very sad.
Hey Mary and Peter, Cool video I remember Mondos, Dunkaroos, and the Hugs Barrels. A local Dollar Tree where I live has Mondos, Squeeze its (which is like a Mondo), Dunkaroos, and Hugs you guys should check out your Dollar Tree for the Dunkaroos and the Hugs Barrels. Thanks for the cool video back to the 90's. You're videos are always so fun to watch. Thanks for the laughs and smiles, Genavieve.
This is so funny, my husband and I were just talking about the hugs and mondo's Friday. We had stopped and gotten some Gatorade, they were out of my normal flavor so I got grape which neither of us had ever gotten. When we tasted it we said it reminded us of those haha.
Did you know that the little table in a pizza box is supposedly a tool to hold the slice next to yours so that you don’t touch another person’s slice while trying to tear/break your slice apart?! I heard it somewhere the other day. Makes sense, but never knew it until recently! Also, used to be my Barbie’s little table in her playhouse. Wrong use apparently! 🤷🏻♀️🤣
Check Walmart for dunk a rue . Costco has them here too. But go on line and see what stores sell them in your area. I know when I lived in that area the food lion carried them.
I just saw the little hugs type drinks at my cousins 1st bday today. It was outside and we social distanced. I drank water though. She had an Elmo cake and was covered in red icing
I STILL buy my kids hug barrels all the time. You can buy a case of them for pretty cheap at walmart.. Its basically a staple here in my house for my daughters lol
Hey Peter, have you seen any more Telula drinks in the last 5 years or was that just a thing you got the luck of having while it was around when you showed them in the older vlogs?
Oh my goodness, I remember those Mondo drinks!!! Yes, they DID have pictures of fruit on the bottles. That way when kids to the drinks to school, they knew the flavor. Think because of the twisty cap, kid would suck the juice out of the cap(like you said) and it became a choking hazard. Haven't seen them in a long time. Thought definitely they were long gone!! Wow!!!! Remember the Hugs!!! You can get the Hugs from BJ'S WHOLESALE CLUB (other things too, not sponsored) and you can have them shipped to ya!! Well, you can't call them a "food" or "drink" but they were wax bottles, lips, and other things filled with liquid. It was an 80's thing. Around the holidays or promotion of special movies the companies would do certain shapes & colors. Freeze pops from Payaso Ice Pops that came in tubular shape container that you would freeze and then cut or snap in the center to share. Pop rocks, candy that would "pop" in your mouth. Oh yeah, the "button" candy on paper! From the ice cream truck when I was growing up that had an ice cream (think it was more of serbert) that was pink and it came in triangle cone 🔺 (picture the point downward) and at the bottom their was a gumball (can't remember the name) and then you had ice cream that were made up of your favourite characters (Mickey Mouse, SpiderMan, etc) and for their "nose" was a gumball. Talk about throwbacks!!! 🌸🌸have a great night🌸🌸
I just found dunkaroos today and they are just OK. I remember them being different. I found them at a store calleed hy-vee , and I used to love those Kool aid jammer and mondos. Interesting how our taste buds change. Lol 😆
Hey everyone please please please pray for me. Last week I was in the hospital for a urinary tract infection that start to go septic. I am now low on white blood cells. Still feel very off.
Of course for were is Humanity if we can't stand together for Community...May your mind, body, and spirit be held safe and sacred in Gods Grace as those around you (known and unknown) ask to hear our prayer for your healing. BLESSING and Peace
" What have you been missing these last few weeks?....Or like the last 20 years!"...🙂 ( or in my case it was "like totally Eighties" gosh I'm old). So I guess one of the big Crazy Fads was CLEAR: Pepsi or other drinks...(1992).. But 80s was Cool Ranch doritos, microwave popcorn, and Reese Pieces. Also had a "fruity" flavored drink in plastic called Squeeezeits.
I'm actually thinking about writing to the people who live in my old house to heal my inner child wounds. I was sexually mentally emotionally and verbally abused in that house. I feel like if I can go in a relive some of the memories I can move on with what's happened to me.
We drank squeeze its and the candy I liked was those wax bottles with juice in them lol I'm not sure what they were called and candy cigarettes. Omg gross all sugar!
I gotta hear what your favorite childhood foods/drinks were! And what decade are they from?
We loved Capri Sun orange flavour! 🍊
Tang!! That orange powder stuff. I want some tang! Delish
You can make the dunkaro icing by mixing together 2 vanilla icing containers and a box of funfetti cake mix. I am not sure if they sell them in the usa but here in canada we can by teddy gram cookies which are practically the same as the dunkaro cookies.

Never heard of Mondos. But I grew up in MA and our favorite pizza was Prince pizza. They are still there today and the pizza is still the same.
The plastic pizza table's were my Barbie table's as a kid.
Oh man I did that too lol
Xev Setter yep! That made for perfect side tables.
Haha yes me tooo!!!!!!
“It has zero carbs? What is it made of???” -Mary HAHAHA
Awww, Mary. It is so wonderful to see you smiling and laughing.....truly heartwarming! I don’t have paw prints of our babies on the fridge which, I must say, is cuteness personified. Peter's face drinking the Mondo. 😁 He doesn't like it but he keeps drinking it.
Knowing we do our grocery pickups at the same stores (Walmart and Aldi) makes me feel so cool for no reason lol. Also, most dollar trees sell mondos lol! The blue and red are SUPREME to purple!

Those colored sugar water things used to keep our kids quiet for a little bit. Now that I look back, I wonder what kind of parents were we? 😂😂
I know! I've had them as an adult and thought they tasted like chemicals.
Peter that is a nice project on the boat. I took hugs to school for lunch. I took hugs for lunch from elementary school to college.
I grew up on the kool aid drinks!!! THOSE THINGS ARE LIFE!!!
Lol Peter's real first reaction to the fantastic 90's drink! Lol 😆 omg I just burst out laughing. He really didn't care for that. Lol haha. What a reaction!! Lol I love it. Thanks for making me laugh!!
My cat is obsessed with sticky stuff like labels, tape. He chews on them.
My one cat is obsessed with licking plastic packets for some reason...
I always have to make sure that I put them away so that she doesn't swallow any pieces or anything.
My cat likes to bunch them up and rub her face on them.

Peter’s face is hilarious! And he keeps drinking it 😆
All cats love cabinets and drawers. With my two I always have child locks on them so I have some peace of mind when I’m not home.
Also, my go to drink in the 90’s were Kool-Aid Kool Bursts.
"He put me in his pocket"! You guys, I love you!

That is the biggest pizza I've ever seen!!!
Mondo has artificial sweetener in them now. When they first came out they had high fructose corn syrup(the good stuff😉😬)
I don't think we had Mondos in Canada. But I remember when Kool-Aid Jammers were a thing.
My husband and I were talking about Squeeze It’s and Mondos last night!!
Hey Mary and Peter,

This is so funny, my husband and I were just talking about the hugs and mondo's Friday. We had stopped and gotten some Gatorade, they were out of my normal flavor so I got grape which neither of us had ever gotten. When we tasted it we said it reminded us of those haha.

I haven't had Randy's in forever. I agree it is good.
We have dunkaroos here in Australia at my local Coles (local supermarket)
You might want to oil your cutting boards. That way they will not crack. We use olive oil.
Walmart has their version of dunkaroos in the bakery section of the store. It's in a clear plastic container.
Was totally singing with that song!
Check Walmart for dunk a rue . Costco has them here too. But go on line and see what stores sell them in your area. I know when I lived in that area the food lion carried them.
They sell Dunkaroos at our Target in Illinois!
I just saw the little hugs type drinks at my cousins 1st bday today. It was outside and we social distanced. I drank water though. She had an Elmo cake and was covered in red icing
