One thing for certain that needs to happen for safety is to place gymnastics big pads around the outside of the track to cover up the concrete and plywood. So when the riders do crash and land off the track, they have some padding to land on. I remember Webb landing on his back and Forkner and Cooper just to name a few ..... don't just talk about safety. Do something to make it happen .
I would change 250 supercross to be a full season like 450 not an east/west. There are other things I would change as well but that is one of the big things I would do!
Two mains. Get rid of heats, they are poitnless when youve just done qualifying for a gate pick. Only to race a heat for a gate pick. The outdoor formats awesome.
Yes 2 motos works so good outdoors, why not do it in supercross too. Would you have both motos pay out points or only the overall position? I think only overall should give points in both series that way the "overall win" actually means something
That will never happen, but I'd like to see 350's and 150's. The 450's and even 250's are too much for the tracks. That's why they are so one lined. It's to try and tame the power. I think with the smaller bikes it would be more like the 2 stroke days, even faster, but they could really open up the tracks.
Not that I have any place to say, but my ideas: 1- Open class - any bike, no displacement limits or modification limits 2- Electric bike class 3- 2-stroke class 4- 150cc 2-stroke in 250F class and 300cc 2-stroke in 450F class 5- yes,!!! a total whoop track, one sand, and one clay 6- dirt track/supermoto sytle race 7- longer whoop class 8- total sand track Just some fan ideas to grow sport and have more variety. True, not enough time for that many classes. Ditch heat races, maybe only LCQ. Then there would be more time for more classes like unlimited mod or displacement, electric class. Ditch futures race for other classes. It's nice Fwld does this but honestly I use that as my pottie time or get more food time like when they had kiddie race. I'm not interested in those, but more pro classes would be better. A variety of tracks and track conditions tests the riders overall skill. A mud race or two is perfect. Spectating a mud race is no fun though.

My biggest gripe since starting to watch Supercross in 2019 was around track grooming. The best track of the entire night is the 250 LCQ. Why wouldn’t the best track be the 250 main event? Someone told me the TV schedule, but the Heats, LCQs, and Mains are all on the broadcast. It would still give the heat riders who qualify straight into the main the same amount of break. It would also provide the LCQ riders with a greater break between LCQ and the main.
Max Anstie is such a great interview. Hope he becomes an announcer in retirement. Great energy, accent, and can tell the most interesting stories on the fly. Love the guy!

I watch MMA, and I love hearing the announcers say: "You can't go at that pace, at this level, for 25 minutes" (5 round fights). I'm always thinking, go watch MX/SX. Lol that's exactly what they do.
Allow *250 2-Strokes* to race *250 4-Strokes.* They're cheaper especially to race & maintain which would benefit smaller teams & privateers & the growth of riding outside of the sport. It would be a fan favorite plus changes the racing dynamic since you race each differently
This year just said its own story. Feld only books cheap stadiums(open ones) and we had a year of mud. Tickets are $200 a pop. Feld can sell his 4 cars and afford a damn covered stadium.
I don’t think it was about Feld being cheap, but more about availability of covered stadiums and fitting all of that with the schedule for different events in those stadiums. A lot of logistical nightmares I’m sure.
Drop the 9 whoop bs. The whoops have always been the deciding point. There are plenty of rhythm sections already. Combin the 250 class in one class. The riders will be better ready for the move to the 450 class.
GET RID OF HEAT RACES I propose a format change. Why do we hold qualifying just to do another qualifying race (heats) when we could watch racing for points 100% of the time? Just give us two motos per class like we do for outdoors. It makes it almost like a triple crown, but with one less race so we get the same amount of gate drops per rider as our current format. I just feel like heat races and LCQs can be some of the worst races to watch and they totally invalidate qualifying in the morning.

From a fan’s point of view my one suggestion would be run Supercross more like Motocross; 2 motos for each class. What i think it would do is create a better series because of the averaging affect it provides.
Cream always rises to the top. But the difference is last weekend Jetts fastest segment through the whoops was .09 seconds faster than Webb… not even a tenth of a second. The longer the section, the more the separation. But again the top guys are almost always the top guys regardless of track layout.
Remove the starting grates.... the 9 whoop limit..... bring back the dragon backs..... remove the fork compressing devices from the motorcycles. Every rider can twist the throttle and make it to the first turn. The cream isn't rising to the front because the tracks are so much easier these days.
Similarily to MXGP, each weekend you should add a third class. For example, A1 can be Women SX, then the next weekend can be 125cc, and maybe some 85cc, 65cc, two stroke, electric, and even some ATV action
Bring back dragonsback & longer whoop section, at least for a few races in the season. Make 250 class include 2T & 4T 250s, 450 class should be any cc bike 300-500. More closed stadiums, no 90° starts, regional futures class, full season 250 class. Newer collapsible,triangular toughblocks for rhythm lanes & slanted disc shaped toughblock on all inside corners to help mitigate footpeg contact
This is an odd idea, and I don't think the riders would like it at all due to the fact that a mechanical issue would be a night ender lol, but I think it would be cool to make a change to the triple crowns. Instead of staggering the races they should have each class do all 3 of their races back to back. It would make it an even bigger curveball, because endurance would come into play as much or more than a regular main event. Also it would make it important to take care of the bike because you'd only get a couple minutes to clean it off and change tires and filters and add fuel between races
I’d love to hear from the riders on why they chose their career #s. Obviously, we know why, Deegan, chose his to keep the family tradition going, but hearing from the riders on their reasoning would be great!

Pull riders from race if they get lapped in main to have less riders in the way of leader and riders trying to to catch up and have more bar to bar instead of just leader running away and win
IVE said this for years sx needs to go to 14 rounds and mx needs 10 these guys get no breaks however i understand the money that will be lost without the rounds but these dudes constantly are on the move

Why is there not a sponsor for track prep between races, ? Kubota, john deer, case, etc .. more track prep between races. Less ruts safer tracks.
