I saw that Jason, from Mt Baker mining and metals is touring Europe. It would be amazing if you could invite him over to a Welsh mine! I'm sure he would be in ore of the old stuff. 😂
Those "roots" look like the rhizomorphs "boot laces" of honey fungus (Armillaria mellea). It will most probably be growing from infected timbers brought into the mine.
have to say this is the most interesting mine you have been down recently, and wonder and suspect the groove in the wheel is wear on it through use rather than anything to locate it on the rail
A really good video this one, very ineteresting thank you for taking us with you. The quality of your vidoes keeps on improving I really like that you are taking more time to show us around areas of the mines and what can be found and seen.
There are some incredible films of WW2 tanks being recovered from bogs, we're the lack of oxygen and cold temperatures have kept them in almost working order. Very interesting.
The respect you all show for these mines and their history is really great. No trophy hunting, just archiving and recording.
Absolutely wonderful!

Oh, new intro. The music in it remind me of one game big part of which spent underground, sometimes in mines

Isn’t purple fluorite?
