Scat Rotating Assembly for Small Block Chevy 4 bolt main 3970010 High nickel block.

It finally came! This Scat 3.75" stroker Small Block Chevy rotating assembly with 4.040 pistons was ordered last February, I had no idea how back logged Scat was when I ordered this kit. But its finally here and it's time for an introduction for future episodes and getting after an 11 sec quarter mile. Once this new engine is built, I plan to install the Nitrous Express plate system on the current 355 and see how long the $50 Facebook marketplace block lives. This should definitely make more power.

Scat crankshaft and rod which l or h beam handle only 500-600 hp??

if you never done it it's not fun , for the most hp and the longest life don't do by hand, the ring mfg
should tell what finish and what cross hatch , just the taper you will put in it by hand will kill the rings at 7 k to 8k rpm, i won't try it, rings have gotten high tech and need to be done correct good luck your basic auto shops may not be capeable ,you need a race car shop

I will look up the manufacturer specs and see what it says. I did it on the 355 that's still in the truck and running low 12 second passes. Be interesting to tear that one down and see what they look like. Thanks for subscribing.
