Back in 1989, a kid in my HS had one of these with a bad ass 8:58 360 in it. It was Hot Pink, lowered, with Enkei rims on it. Hey, it was the 80's and the height of the Mini-Truckin phase. Who knows what happened to that thing. All I know was that was the only mini truck at my HS with a V8 in it. Bad ass.

Because Im pretty sure the Dirty Hippie and Blake think they are the boss. Might need to address that in yall next video, how everyone ranks being IN charge,....
Sounds like a plan. I was big into the Conquest/Starion scene and we would get the differential out of the Monterey/Raider for a good gear swap. They would also handle around 400hp pretty easily. Good Luck
Excitement builds for a D50 transformation from Street Sleeper to 1/8th mile sweeper... Looking forward to Winter progress and actually the 904 build... @Duddies only jealous cos he put under glow on the Death Charger and Jack laughed so hard he coughed up a bit of salt bush...now hes scared to turn them on again :)
My friend that has that big block aspen. Has a d50 with a 360 . Uses a diplomat rear axle 391 . He said all he does is under coat rear wheel wells and activates the rear tire delete mode
The d50's have a 55" wide rearend if memory serves right mopar 8 3/4 b body's from 60ish to 70 where 55" or you could use 8 1/4" F body rearends they are 54" or even find a 60s-70 9 3/4 B body rearend they are almost 55 wide but of course you will need to change the spring perches @@79asspin
Used to be a few smallblock Mopar powered D50's running around (SW Washington) in the early to mid 80's I knew of. Using the stock 904 crossmember I wonder if a Dakota/Durango pan with it's small rear sump may work for you- the older swaps I saw had passenger car center sump pans. Had a chance to buy a D50- was going to use part of a wheelbarrow tub & a tubular transmission crossmember to set the engine back 6-8" so a stock truck pan would fit. Missed the deal, though. With a 5.9 making 400+HP so easily, traction will be the big issue. Should be a fun build!
Thanks Dan, the yellow D50 Blake used for the thumbnail had a car pan that was modified into a front sump pan, to clear the cross member. We currently have the 5.9 magnum rear sump, a center sump car pan and we just scored an odd ball front sump pan from a 79 Winnebago RV. Between the 3 we'll see what works best, I'd like to use the original truck pan but it might interfere with the D50s steering linkage. Thanks for the comment.
@@79asspin Talked to one of the D50 guys- one of his was a former 4cyl.diesel, he thinned & boxed the tubular crossmember under the engine, ran a 318 4bbl out of a Dippy Cop Car with stock pan.

them was some good little truck back in the day had one there wasnt much love for them the rangers and the s10s got all the love

😆Jack has replaced The Dodge Whisperer as my favorite character on Duddie's Adventure. 😆 904 build up next.

Do you recall if he had to narrow the Diplomat rear? The 8.25 is plenty strong, I'd consider it. Thanks @wreckerjonny6144.
