I always took Cain as a metaphor of sorts, the sign of a family dog, keyword being: family. And after said family begins to crumble, Cain became harder for me to find around camp (definitely not coded like that, I was probably just not looking) Until finally in Chapter Six where shit really hit the fan, and Cain is presumably killed and/or dumped somewhere by Micah. I find it a somewhat sad metaphor for Micah somewhat destroying the 'happy little family' which wasn't too happy to begin with in actuality. I'm reading into it a lot, but, hey, that's what stories are for.
It true, as sad we never got know cain fate but end shows state of this family to beginning and end thanks micah and ones involed (im looking at you Dutch)
I don't hate Bill and Javier in Rdr2, but in Rdr1 Bill is definitely hateable, his gang are made up of rapists I think, it's been a bit since I played 1. But I don't hate Javier in 1, but he may have left John to die in 2. It's been a while since I played Chapter 6 of Rdr2.
I bet bill would’ve beaten the ever loving shit out of micah (maybe even killed him accidentally) for killing Cain...if he found out that he ACTUALLY did. Or he'd just be so upset by it that he wouldnt even do anything because he'd feel like he'd get on dutch's bad side.
Dogs are loyal. Bill was in the army. Was loyal to Dutch. I always took Bill as a dog and horse person because in multiple dialogs it says Bill loves his horse (Brown Jack? I think.)
Bill's interactions with Cain completely redeem in my eyes. Rockstar did such an amazing job developing this character, I can't truly hate him after playing RDR2, even though I know how he turns out in RDR1.
Bill needed more recognition from the gang and maybe he should have worked more to improve his personality otherwise he could be one of the likest gang members
Sometimes scenes start as you are entering camp I think, and some start while you are watching other scenes, so you are likely to miss a great many scenes. That's what UA-cam is for.
I saw Jack and Dutch find him. I probably saw Bill play with him at some point and probably just ignored it cause the scene was really familiar and I saw Micah talk about killing the dog.. which for some reason I doubt he did.. idk just seems like the dog just probably left cause no one paid it any attention
I have seen 1st and 4th scenes in game (they are so adorable omg) And missed everything else (not surprising with the last one - I didn't do fishing at all xd)
My first interaction with a dog in this game was as I was leaving the stables, and my horse ran him over during the part where the game controls you as you leave.
*Spoilerwarning* cain is present during chapter 3 and 4 (however a bit less prominent) after that it is implied he left the gang after the ruckus in saint denis. Because Micha specificly saied "he wont come back" how much Micha has part in cains "disapearance" is not known, some people go as far as thinking he killed the dog. But honestly considering how much happened Cain mostlikely just stay away from them. It also doesnt help that Chapter 6 is in the woods were cougars are around.
@@eggbenedict8966 yeah don’t worryI finished the game it’s my second play through, in my first play through i only cared about missions so I didn’t see any encounters. I think there was an encounter between Micah and Jack in chapter 6 where Jack asks about Cain, does that mean Cain was actually in chapter 6? Thanks for answering by the way.
@@Kinan_The_G.O.A.T No he is not in chapter 6 , the encounter is jack walking around worringly yells for cain when a annoyed micha says "he wont come back" causing jack to run away from him, athur who is a dogperson imidiadly suspects micha (if antagonized) and asks what the hell he has been doing to cain Micha does not respond with a ghastly grinn. Knowing Micha he either did it or just saied nothing ot piss athur further off.

Aww these interactions between Bill and Cain are just adorable. Wish i had noticed them during one of my playthroughs
remember people,dont rush lol.
Nahh, don’t give a shit what people say, and if he was a villain in RDR. Gotta admirer Bill for being a dog lover 🤓
Personally, I never hated Bill and Javier. They were just loyal fools.

And to think Cain would’ve been on Arthur’s side in the standoff
Cain is such a good boy.

Bill knew Micah was faster than him, and also probably getting against Dutch.
Bill really likes dogs
Never took Bill for a dog person
Yes, most of the ppl think that Cain is Jack's dog, but actually Bill cares and loves him more.
Dogs are loyal. Bill was in the army. Was loyal to Dutch. I always took Bill as a dog and horse person because in multiple dialogs it says Bill loves his horse (Brown Jack? I think.)
Neither did I but I love it
If only Bill was a little smarter he’d be a valuable ally and not be a blindly loyal fool to Dutch. I never hated him. Same with Javier
Well, if you ever needed further proof micha was the rat? He kicks Caine for sniffing out his natural prey.
Damn it Micah what did Cain ever do to you!!!!
Exist apparently
All those who think Bill would have killed Micah if he found out he killed Cain say Aye.

A video that made me like Bill a lil more and hate Micah a lil more
Bill needed more recognition from the gang and maybe he should have worked more to improve his personality otherwise he could be one of the likest gang members
Yeah, I missed ALL of this. Like every single scene.
Even when micah kick's him?

I just remember seeing a dog in camp one time and I yelled at it, then Strauss got mad at me 😂
This will exactly show you who is a good man and who is a bastard
I REALLY don’t like Micah, who the hell kicks a dog 😒
You can easily expect the worst from that idi0t 😑
Middle aged men with anger issues
The level of detail within this game is just levels above the rest, wished the ac Valhalla and these sort of interactions within the settlement
Bill deserved better

Cain brought out the best in Bill
If only Micah had the same fate than Kieran’s
Another reason to always antagonise Micah…
Cain Rufus and big boah (my horse) my favorite animals
why is arthur morgan all shook up
Micah kicking the dog…well…that’s better than what I did the first time I came across one in the game.
I didn’t think you could kill them 😩😔
You...can....?!?!?!?
My first interaction with a dog in this game was as I was leaving the stables, and my horse ran him over during the part where the game controls you as you leave.
GOD I hate Micah. And this made me see something in Bill. I always thought he was a terrible man because of RDR1, but this is too sweet to forget.

Why did they make all the "bad guys" in rdr so nice in rdr2
Because it's a prequel
@@zachjohnson9391 I know but I feel sad when they die you're not supposed to do that with a bad guy
Because human beings are complex and nuanced
The reason why I like Bill so much
