Doomtrooper very late answer but yes the pcv uses the same energy as the HEV suit and other similar charging stations (like the OHMs one and so on) so those HEV batteries also work as shown in boot camp.

Just finished opposing force for the first time the other day. Seeing you hop thorugh Foxtrot Uniform and a few other levels in literal seconds while i was restarting every 10 minutes was so funny. good stuff.
Opposing force is non-canon, as you can see in this, Gordon was running into the portal, after waiting for it to activate, when in the real Half-Life, he jumped straight into the machine and was teleported to Xen in mere seconds after entering the room.

The AI in this game is probably one of the most intelligent and innovative AI if you compare it to modern games, just like the minor details and major details that they've put in the AI in other Valve and Non-Valve just like in Half-Life 2, GTA Four, Counter-Strike 1.6, Counter-Strike: Source, etc even with their disadvantages and errors. The AI in this game is probably one of the most intelligent and innovative AI if you compare it to modern games, just like the minor details and major details that they've put in the AI in other Valve and Non-Valve just like in Half-Life 2, GTA Four, Counter-Strike 1.6, Counter-Strike: Source, etc even with their disadvantages and errors. Valve and most of the companies back then really produced the stuff that satisfied both our happiness and our needs. We really need a time travel machine IMO.
