Thank you for this tutorial very helpful. Do we have to reload the numbers knob every time we take a new picture? Mine is at 1, so after taking my first picture should i push it to 2 etc?
the film counter will reset whenever the film door is opened. it's more of an indication of estimate how many shots you've taken. not all numbers are there. just advance until you cant advance further.

should there always be a flash if i put it in flash mode? because it does not work anymore and i thought maybe if there is too much light the flash won't turn on...🤔
the flash will trigger if it's charged and turned on, no matter the lighting conditions.
no joke mine was opposite to unload? like turn same direction but it was done when there was more tension
as in when u are rewinding?
@@8storeytree yeah? there was crazy tension so i was worried that i was going the wrong way and pulling the end of the roll but i was like whatever let’s go for it and it ended up rewinding.
@@cote0168 make sure that ur rewind button was not popped out halfway thru ur rewinding phase. that may have caused the tension.
Hello, does the first click count on the film? (or is it a starting spare) I am a bit confused with the S.
U can advance to '1' before really shooting so that the counter is more accurate. Though we'd prefer not to waste the beginning of the film.

turn the advance wheel slightly, it shd pop back up.

u'd have to send the film to a lab for processing and have the negs scanned.
Help what do you do if the film is not loaded properly? My rewind knob doesn't turn when i'm advancing :(
sometimes, the film in the canister is loose, therefore, the rewind will only move after a few turns / shots.

Hi do you know what's the maximum number that the Kodak M35 film counter can display? Mine just went back to "S" after 20+ shots and im getting nervous haha :/ im pretty sure tho that the back didnt open at any point at all

Why isn’t my film number count thingy moving but the spool moves and im able to take pictures but im not sure if i did😅
the film counter is indicative. it resets if the film door is open or loose.

Are the straps for the M38 replaceable? Like if I wanted to get a strap of my choice that I can tie on, would that work?

It sounds funky when I wind the film, like loose. Now I’m too scared to open and check. Is that normal?
if unsure, best to bring it to the shop for advise. don't really know how 'funky' sounds like.

it's possible to 'trick' the camera that the film has advanced to the next frame by turning the dial/gear inside the camera (near the frame).
Is it okay that I accidentally opened the back? It went back to S from 1? What do I do? And are the pics I took still ok?
the part of film exposed to light will be ruin.
@@8storeytree will it be completely wiped out? and are the pictures taken after that incident still okay/safe?:( because I didnt open it anymore after and i took more pictures.
What if the film cannot advance and shows "S"
assuming film was present before reaching this point, then probably u're at the end of the end.
