  • You guys know that gearbox is a very important part of any vehicle. This is the third critical part of the automobile power train without which it is not possible to move any automobile. The reason for this is that a gearbox enables any vehicle to operate in different conditions. For example, when a car is quiet, more torque is needed to move it.
    And we choose small gear to propel the sedan. Which is 1st gear. But usually choose 2nd gear instead of 1st ...
    So why do we choose small gear?
    This is because the power and torque of any engine depends on the RPM of that engine. The more an engine runs at RPM or cycle per minute. That produces more power. This is the reason why the engine is running at higher RPM when we choose smaller gear. Because of this we get better torque in smaller gear.
    A Toyota Corolla's manual transmission takes 1 rpm at the engine's 3 rpm in first gear. Similarly in other gear the engine takes about 2 cycles and the transmission takes an RPM. There are about 1.3 in the third gear and the RPM of the engine and transmission in the fourth gear almost equal. Similarly in Fifth gear the transmission is running at rpm higher than the engine. So the purpose is to say that as you move towards the bigger gear, the ratio between the engine and the gear decreases. Now if you look at the Fifth gear, it runs at a higher speed than the transmission engine we call over-drive. In fifth gear, the torque delivery of the engine is minimal but transmission speed increases. This is why the engine tries to shut down if a quiet vehicle is tried in top gear. Even the car can't move.
    So dear friends, whatever transmission is currently used in cars. Their goals and goals are the same, but the way they work is different.
    You guys are familiar with the manual transmission. These are transmissions that require frequent shifts while driving the vehicle. And they have the H shift pattern. Which you have often seen in cars.
    Automated transmissions are being used in most vehicles today and their demand is increasing day by day. These are gear boxes that automatically shift when the vehicle is moving. Vehicles that use automatic transmission have neither the clutch pedal nor the clutch system. Instead, a torque converter is installed. Which delivers engine torque to the transmission with fluid coupling.
    You have very little work to do when you are driving an automatic transmission. You only select parking neutral, reverse and drive mode. Now the transmission shifts automatically and automatically adjusts itself according to engine RPM and road speed
    The automatic transmission comes with the first AGS technology developed by Suzuki Motor. The AGS or auto gear shift is a transmission that is actually a manual transmission.     These are used as gear gear sets called Planetary Gear Sets. The engine power is allocated by sequencing these gear sets. They use clutch instead of a torque converter. In addition to conventional automotive transmission, valve bodies, small clutches and bands are used. Plant gear sets are controlled with valve bodies, clutches and bands. And a planetary gear set offers four types of drive. Such as direct drive, low speed, high speed and reverse gear drive.
    For example, a Planetary Gear Set consists of three parts. These include sun gear, pantry gear, and color gear.
    Now when we stop the color gear with the help of the bands while the vehicle is moving, we get low speed. Similarly, high speed is achieved if the sun gear is stopped. Similarly, if the planetary gear is captured, it will provide a reverse drive.
    This is why gear shifting feels a slight jolt when driving a typical automatic transmission vehicle. The reason for this is that when the valves lock and release different gears while the vehicle is moving, there is a slight jerkiness.
    This is the way an automatic transmission works. Now these plinth gear sets can be 3, 4, 5, different sets. As a transmission is more speed it can have as many planariatry gear sets.
