This is an important upgrade to make on your valvetrain system after a cam upgrade. This kit uses needle bearings which is fine considering I have not increased the spring rate much with the PAC 1218's. In dual spring applications, you may want to consider using solid brass or bronze bushings with the higher pressure. Overall, this looks like a high quality kit and I am excited to see how they work when I get this running.

What about install a snap ring onto the end of the trunnion with the sharp edge of the I.D. facing away from the bushing? Is that necesarry or not ?
That is a good point to bring up. I did not see a difference on either side of the snap ring. they appeared to be smooth on both sides
How are these working out. I need to upgrade and dont have a lot of money
So far so good! I haven't ran the engine too hard but I have heard no noise and the engine still runs good.
Why didn’t you get the floating trunnion instead? Ditch the needle bearings
I probably should. I may do that on the next engine upgrade.
