I want to connect internet into my metal clad garage. Outside the garage I can pick up enough data to run low resolution UA-cam videos. If I was to have one of these in the house and another next to a small window in the side of my garage, would the garage extender be able to connect into the house extender or do they need to connect into the original modem to work? If not, is there any better option other than wiring a connection.
You only need to have the wifi extender next to the router for the initial setup. After that you can put it where you want. So setup both next to each other and then move one to the window and then the other to the garage. Should work for you.
Thanks for this tutorial! I have been trying to set this up, but nothing has worked until I saw this video.
After activating it as a mesh node, can I connect a switch to ethernet port to get wired connections?

The ethnrt cable port can also be used as a connection to other computers to connect to internet
How do i just plug it in my computer?
is it as strong as your actual wifi router cause im looking for a wifi extender to put in my room
Yeah no problem with strength - go for it!
