My neighbor needs to get this setup, im tired of his slow wifi that drops all the time 🥺🥺
😂
Lmao
@@GrumpyMansREVIEWS serious 🤞🤞🤞🤞
I live in a small apartment but even my wifi struggles with all the walls and doors blocking the single. I put this device in my kitchen and it’s been working great no more slow internet. So for me it’s been a good device.
sure its not a channel conflict
Thank you for making this video as I didn’t know what to do to get wifi or even know what’s the best product. I will purchase this device to get better wifi coverage. 🥇
Glad you found the video useful!
You got the low end one, once you get the models with External Antenna such as the RE705X, you will have better speeds. And also, use the extender as wireless bridge, where the extender is the middle man, and hook up a 2nd router to the extender for best speeds.
Can I check with you, is it possible to set up the RE705X as an extender with an Ethernet wire, would that work?
Or the LAN port is only for devices?
@@raminthind1848 , yes you can do that too, but you have to connect the wire all the way through the Main router to the extender and use cat 7 ethernet cable or whichever is the latest.
Whats the difference between this model and the one which has 2 antennas ?
hi there...…..can I use 160mhz bandwidth if i connect re700x with ethernet cable in access point mode....i have internet connection with download and upload speed of 350mbps
just for info the 700x is the newer version... hw is the same
Thank for for your honest review.
Thank you for watching!
thanks!! this video has saved me about 4 hours of hard ache!!
Glad you found the video helpful!
Thank you! This is a super helpful video. Straight to the point unlike these other videos that start to talk a load of crap.
Thanks for the video. Clear & conscise...
This is a helpful review, many thanks
@@jasongadd8921 Glad you found the video helpful. Thanks for watching!
Great review 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Can we plug the ethernet port from this extender to PC/Laptop after this extender connected to WiFi? Or the extender ethernet port just for router only?
Yes you can the wireless router will send a wifi signal to the extender and then you can plug in a Ethernet cable to be used. Or you can turn the extender into the router either or.
Great video mate👋👋
Thank you!
Thank you- Your video was of great help to make me decide
Glad you found the video useful!
I can’t find anywhere how many devices this supports. Every single extender on Amazon says the amount of devices it can handle… except this one. They one I’m debating on buying. Of course.
So do we know how many devices it supports at once? I need 30 at least.
Watching your video now in hopes you will mention it. 🙌
Forget what I asked I guess. This has the number ax3000 but doesn’t look like the ax3000 on Amazon. It has antennas. 🤦♂️
@@flux88 There are 2 AX3000 models. This one is the RE700X. The other with aerials is the RE705X. It doesn't say on their site but I imagine it would support more than 30 devices if it's anything like their other models.
@@AndyMitchellUK26 thanks for that thought… I actually ended up ordering one and it seems to be working pretty well for my needs.. very good device, and would definitely recommend!
@@flux88 That's good to know. I just ordered the RE500X as a tester for the living room but I've just seen the RE815XE which is 5400 Mbps! I only have a small house so I may hold off on forking out for one of those.
@@AndyMitchellUK26 I had a product credit on Amazon plus like 47$ in points from my Amazon credit card so I went for mine that’s normally 119$ only because of those discounts lol… mine is the RE715X…
The Hub 5 isn't bad great honest review
Thank you for watching!
Hi just brought this extender is it better to use the app or is wps syncing just as good? thanks for the great review and setup many thanks matt.
Hi Matt, glad you found the video useful. It's always best to use the app, as you can update the firmware of the extender and pick the best location.
Excellent review great product 👍
Thank you!
Which one would you recommend AX1800 or this ??
@@akshaybhoir9333 It depends on how much of an area you want to cover, this will be good for large areas.
If I use this as a wired access point will it support Gigabit speeds as it claims that the ethernet port is Gigabit?
Yes it will.
@@GrumpyMansREVIEWS Thanks. I purchased it and currently using it as a Gigabit access point. For me wall power socket mountable is the biggest advantage as I didn't have any rack or closet to put an AP. Being a brick wall didn't want to hang it.
Good choice.
@@taserpulse how about the mesh? Is wired access point working in one-mesh...?
Top video!
@@dipenkanani7988 Thanks!
The only thing I was interested in seeing was how the one mesh worked
That’s kinda nice how it will use the same IP address so you don’t have to change access points. I know IPhones do that if you already logged into another wifi it will remember and automatically switch when the phones near that access point but not all wireless devices do this. So to have the extender mesh with your wifi routers IP address is nice.
Brilliant review
Thank you very much!
hi there...…..can I use 160mhz bandwidth if i connect re700x with ethernet cable in access point mode....i have internet connection with download and upload speed of 350mbps
Thank you nice review.
Do you have to use ethernet cable or can it connect wirelessly?
It connects wirelessly to your wifi router
Does it work with the original Tp link Router as well? Or do they go together?
It will work with any router.
Does it work with sky broadband Business router
Which is Wi-Fi six
Dont see why not.
ied rather have an assce point mesh were u wire it to the router instead of repeating wifi ,, less latacey then
@@RichMantaray That is the best way but not everyone can run cables friend.
I’m with virgin and I’m getting about 350mbps what would you recommend for gaming?
Hi, this is good. ua-cam.com/video/o7uq7EXcLTI/v-deo.html
That’s plenty fast for gaming most online gaming only needs 15mp so you are way above that. The speeds good if you got troubles you might have a bad signal.
It is not showing my 5ghz network to connect to extender, pls help
Reset it and try again. The 2.4Ghz does come up first.
Asus rp-ax58 its better?
yo would be intresting? have you bought the ax58?
Agree on the price. But I think your problem is your poor internet speed.(bottleneck)
I got this extender and it works great. I didn’t have dead zones more of a weak signal this device helped with that and the one mesh works so well.
Hi will you do a review on the vax pace cordless vaccum please?
No plans as of yet.
Nice
Thanks!
Sorry how can you be okay with 1GB down at 53MB up? It’s laughable. I’m with BT Fibers and it’s 1GB down and 300GB up.
Unfortunately I have no control over it.
@@GrumpyMansREVIEWS I get that, Virgin Media is just a rip off, people work remotely now. So VPN performance is important, this upload speed critical, most other providers give you 10% upload of download, 1GB should at minimum be 100MB up. Change providers dude.
@@adnanmajeed6916 I’m no longer with Virgin Media, BT now 900 down and 110 up. However Virgin offer 100 up as well.
👍
Thanks.
simply, dont buy this crap
