- Watch Korda boss Danny Fairbrass publicly apologises to Tom Dove for not using the Tackle Safe sooner. The team at Korda doesn't always agree on everything, items are released from us now and again that certain team members love and others may not initially love.
The Tackle Safe fits into the Korda Compac 140 storage system.

The TackleSafe is the latest addition to our terminal tackle and rig storage range, and is set to become just as popular as the existing RigSafe and ChodSafe products.
It’s a compact end tackle system, complete with a ruler and soft-touch, non-slip outer coating, and is perfect for storing the essentials you need quick and easy access to. In the base section (the deeper half) you have an open compartment, perfectly sized to accommodate spools of hook link materials, as well as a pair of scissors and a Pulla Rig Toolz.
Either side of this central area, you have compartments designed to hold lead clips, tail rubbers, or similar - each with a flip lid that clips into place so that they can’t spill out, yet is easily opened when needed. On the opposite side (the shallower half of the magnetic clam-shell design) you have a number of compartments suited to the smaller metal items we carry, such as rig rings and swivels. Placed centrally are two larger compartments - the first of which is big enough to hold a number of packets of hooks, and the second is for baiting needles, shrink tube, anti-tangle sleeves, or similar.
Preparation between sessions is something that is rarely discussed in the carp fishing world, but is something that I consider can be important. These days we all accept that location is king, but once the carp are located and the rigs are in place, what else can we do to help maximise results?

I have the chod safe, rig safe and have just got the tackle safe all great bits of kit and seem very well made.
I’m not a Korda user apart from mouth trap and thought it was a load of rubbish, just a box but I saw someone with one on my water and loved it! I take very little fishing and keep my bits in a cpl thinking anglers pouches, but I’m definitely getting one, so much easier and no packets to flip through to find what you are after.

I tried to speak to Danny yesterday at the northern angling show and was totally egnored was going to ask him for tips about fishing in France as I’m going in August this year I was let down to have bumped into one of my carp fishing stars and for him not being who I thort he was,completely let down 😞

What’s the case that the tackle safe fits in perfectly
One Thing that puts me off it is the use of Magnets. Why? beacuse if you place your hooks or swivels or rig rings near to the very powerful magnets they will become magnetised. Causing them to pick up metalic debris off the lake bed or restricting movement of rig rings on magnetised hooks etc. So for me I will stick to my plastic slide locking end tackle box. I dont care if its bigger.

What a superb terminal tackle system very very neat and compact once again an absolutely excellent piece of kit from the guys at korda you can see that real anglers have put thought into producing something that works instead of just churning out rubbish with a company logo on it like most companies do
Where do the longest stringer/stick needles fit? They seem to have designed a tackle box that won’t take the full range of their own baiting tools?.

I would like to draw a comparrison between some punters and a fish on our local water which we call The Mug Fish as it gets caught regularly....... and easily !!!!!!!!

Because the people that work at Korder have marketed and remarked so many different types of scissors. Why? Because they are greedy cunts.

Sorry but a lot of Korda stuff is a gimmick that cost’s the earth for something that ain’t all that. The tackle box is crap I had one it broke took it back got another one that broke also. Lesson learnt don’t buy into everything you see from these guys. Korda does have some good products don’t get me wrong but there are also some really bloody awful ones as well!!!

Tjs la même histoire depuis 15 ans avec les premiéres vidéos de l'étang de l'abbaye prés de compiegne... Des plans d'eaux gavés de carpes à 1tone l'hectare et nourrit toute l'année pour atteindre des poids records ! Qui plus est...des spots entretenus des semaines à l'avance pour faire des vidéos. C'est marrant on les vois jamais faire des vidéos dans des plans d'eau sauvage... tjs du privé. De l''entrée gratuite avec un un coup de pub au passage.... Arréter de nous prendre pour des naifs..

I like most the tackle korda does but these videos that have no other purpose but advertisements for your products are starting to annoy me even the new masterclass felt just like it was advertising products instead of trying to help people improve there fishing I get you need to advertise your stuff but you can do it a bit more low key rather than a whole video saying you’re ready tied rigs work we already know that we all just want to see tips and tricks and water craft ect not just get these products pushed down our neck please just stop it makes me and from the look of it most others not want to watch your videos
