I love Tina! And this came from such a real and raw place. She had literally just escaped her abuser two years before that. She deserves all of her flowers and I hope we never forget her as a culture.
i am a huge, huge Tina fan, last tour i saw her more than 11 times, but i never listen to this song as i am not a fan of depressed forced by ike to sing so i always avoided early TT clips.Never knew this was after Ike.it brought tears to my eyes as this was THE ONLY TIME she showed her vulnerability to the public and you can see, hear all her singing as her way to voice her pain she bottled over the years,no wonder she became the most successful female rock star ever,i have watched this now 4 times
2022 You know, except for Tina Turner, no one has heard such depth, an actor's transfer of meaning. Perhaps because she had been through a lot by that time..And Neil has a lot of respect for this song
When she first came out singing this song it was rumored Neil Diamond was one of the ones who turned his back on her is why she sang it. I never liked him since. That was many years ago.
This must be the point of her career where roger davies said don’t change anything, just everything! Honestly I wish she’d took this less rough approach later on. Maybe she wouldn’t have had to retire if she’d done softer material in her later years
@@VincentWilliams007 I mean, in her later years, once she was already the queen … i wish she’d transitioned to an easier delivery so she keep going. I guess she did a bit with thé beyond albums but they weren’t really musical
wow. such a powerful, moving performance. a baring of the soul really. it's what made tina THE BEST! RIP dear goddess!
I know what you’re saying and singing!!!!😂
I love Tina!
And this came from such a real and raw place. She had literally just escaped her abuser two years before that.
She deserves all of her flowers and I hope we never forget her as a culture.
She lived her balads. From her very soul
Excelente Actuacion de Tina! Maravillosa cantando ! La unica!!
Her version of " you don't bring me flowers" just grabs at my heart!
Same here. So beautiful.
shame she didn't record it on a studio album
This is a good example of how Tina Turner is one of the best cover artists there is.
If I didn't love Tina enough, I sure do now!
How awesome it must have been to be there listening to her live. That voice is something to be bestowed.
Yes, Ms. Tina continues to be the BEST! She's simply AWESOME!
She gives me chills and moves me to tears. A true legend.
What a beautiful , strong, proud, dignified black woman. I love her.
W😍W! Just Exceptional!👑🎤
Wow you can really feel the pain in these songs when she sings them ..very strong woman to go through what she has r.i.p beautiful Tina 🌹❤️ 2023.
Tina‘s personal rendition of these beautiful songs literally brings me to tears😢😢❤.
Quelle émotion Tina.
Tu me manques beaucoup et cette vidéo est très émouvante.
❤Rip ❤
In 1978/79 she sang some beautiful ballads. She wrote in 'I Tina' that she wanted to sing ballads in order to show her voice to the people.
She did that and so much more. Her long arduous climb to the top. And she gave her all every performance years and years later.
Such a vocal showcase
Only thing I can say after watching this is… PERFECTION ❤❤❤

Beautiful. Part of her long climb to the top. Rock and roil was her heart, and expression her soul.
Esa versión de Tina es perfecta para ella pues estaba muy reciente toda la mala situación que ella había vivido con su mal matrimonio
LOVE THE TIMBRE IN HER VOICE !!! SUCH AN ICON !!!
Her album, ROUGH, is very good
Love her own rendition and interpretation of these songs.
Powerful
Feel like crying when she sings Sometimes when we touch......thinking of all she went through
2022 You know, except for Tina Turner, no one has heard such depth, an actor's transfer of meaning. Perhaps because she had been through a lot by that time..And Neil has a lot of respect for this song
Perfect richness and depth for this song.
Never heard this before. Great to hear Tinas versions.
So emotional. All the hurt inflicted on this lovely woman there to hear.

Bravissima Tina...
I wonder if she didn't mean to say Barbra Streisand instead of Crystal Gayle. Barbra who sang that duet with Neil Diamond.
IPEROHI ERMINIA....FANTASTIKI TINA !
wOw
😢😢😢😢😢
See she can actually sing
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Who is the second singer she says she is paying tribute to?
+Stuart Allan Crystal Gayle, Loretta Lynne's sister
Dan Hill, who wrote and sang "Sometimes When We Touch".
When she first came out singing this song it was rumored Neil Diamond was one of the ones who turned his back on her is why she sang it. I never liked him since. That was many years ago.
I was to young to understand that she was singing these songs as a catharsis in getting over Ike.
This must be the point of her career where roger davies said don’t change anything, just everything!
Honestly I wish she’d took this less rough approach later on. Maybe she wouldn’t have had to retire if she’d done softer material in her later years
Perhaps you're right, yet, but would the national attention have come about? Probably not.

Do you mean emotionality?
Tina is emphatically herself.
