Absolutely. GM made an extremely popular, excellent EV in the early 90s. If there was more money EVs than raping their customers with "Designed to Fail" ICE age vehicles, GM would make an excellent EV. Simple greed.

Ford plans to make EV's a good commuter car in 2 years. It will work fine in your daily trip to work, especially in smaller cities. It will also be used as a fleet vehicle for vans and trucks. You need to look at more than the starting price, and look at the gas, oil, fluid savings over the total life of the vehicle.. There are less parts in an EV, and less to go wrong. Th

Most people aren’t buying it, thats why EVs are rotting on the lot. You’re also leaving out cost like higher insurance, worse depreciation, more expensive tires that wear out quicker from the weight of the battery, tons of tech and software bugs, battery replacement costs, battery technology that quickly becomes outdated. Sorry but EVs makes today’s gas prices look like a bargain. I wouldn’t trust a Go-Cart built by Ford, GM or CDJR.

There will be changes in costs. Battery prices will drop. EV users do get credits. They save on gas prices ans maintenance costs.
