#1 hands down as well as #5. Watching this and seeing craftmanship from different parts of the world was very enriching. Really a lot of talented folk out there.
The VW without a doubt. I’m a Vdub man thru and thru. I had a VW Westfalia camp mobile and it was by far the most fun and exciting vehicle I have ever owned.
How delightful to see how creative people can be. For me it’s a no brainer. The Decoliner or the VW snail camper are the standouts. Thank you for such a well put together video. You put a smile on my face right when I needed it.
It may not have been the prettiest but the VW Kombi was one of the best motor vehicles ever manufactured. Super reliable and perfect for Camper conversion.
I like the Jungle Yacht. It reminds me of a Mobile Home my Mother-in-law lived in for a while. The Art Deco design is just beautiful with its functionality.
Dave from N Z Over the past 60 years have built my own campers different designs But these are all top machines that their designers can be proud of Enjoying the comforts and out doors Love them
All are great , but the 1962 trailer, 1 of 2 , oh man, it's a piece of beauty. That curved glass is out of this world, and what a great restoration on that interior and outside too I guess. It's gorgeous. Only thing is missing is me. Great video.
Thank you so much for a possible future dream. In the very early 1980's we decided on a special vacation. 2 months traveling Florida with our VW camper and young son. We started camping in camp grounds and decided on spots in the middle of no where. We saw 2 ruts going into the everglades that ended up by a stream about 2 blocks in About 3 am my wife started to open the camper door to jump out. I warned her to take a light because we don't know what's out there. She sat up by the door until day break. We camped in a camp ground next to the a highway. It was crowded noisy and everything we didn't want. We next stayed at Bahia Honda state park. It was full except a tent site. They let us stay a week and left with new friends. Not wanting another camp ground,we found an old submarine pit and meet some of the lost souls of America. We fished together, fish fry's together and shared life's stories together We finally ended up at the end of the road. Camped around Key West Walmart.....different streets and parks. I wanted to share how wonderful it is even in a basic RV or camper. I'm now 74 and need a new adventure camping.
My favorite one was the 1961 Holiday House. I like the room, it was pretty well thought out in design, lots of decent amenities and I dig the styling of the outside of it. I like the louver glass windows. You can keep them open during rain storms for ventilation without the inside getting wet. I miss windows like that, they are handy. I wouldn't want to tow that beast though, that thing is huge!
One of the best of all time, is one you didn't discover! In England they make a replica Volkswagen camper (minus the cab) as a bedroom, to tow behind your matching REAL camper!
WTHIT was impressive. I didn't think I'd like it until I saw the interior. Plus, you'd feel safe in all that steel. Keeping it cool though, would be a monster.
I love the vintage camper's and trailer's! The styling on some of them is amazing! Thanks for finding these to show us! Hope y'all have a great holiday season!
I really liked a lot of these, and I have to agree with your pick for number one! That’s just beautiful! (I must admit I am a creature of comfort, and I’m always looking to see what the kitchen looks like and whether or not there is a bathroom!)
Wowsers theses are ingenious, I think my favourite is number 13, I would like one, but not with the deck area, even tho this video is 2yrs old thanks 💖😁
@@mindseyedesign I just got confirmation that my uncle will let me do a video/ photos of the camper when he gets back from vacation, I'm not sure how to private message you though
Not more than a week ago i saw a former school bus with a deck added over the roof & a 6' x 8' tent on the deck. I thought to myself how practical, affordable & fun. Seen along Southern Ave in front of Red Devil Pizza, Mesa Az. Bravo dude!
This is really well curated, great production values and editing. Found some really cool stuff . It's funny how the intentionally futuristic stuff is novelty cool but doesn't stand the test of time but the functional, classic & retro ones are works of art Great job 👍Thx
I'm so very happy to be able to comment regarding the 15 very unusual campers and the very vivid dreams of of another member of the human races' renditions of their ideal camper. I had a lot of camping fun in my past. I never got my fill of it. Now that folks are actually living in campers full-time I'm really jealous. I'm a 70 years young widow now and I cannot afford one. It's a shame because when my children were grown I went to work with my husband on his semi. I loved driving a rig. Times that he was ill for months at a time I drove solo across the US. We didn't want to loose our company truck. Seven years ago this month he died from cancer. Thanks for bringing back some fun memories for me and you' ve probably helped a few others also. Very Sincerely, Teresa Newby
I am 67 and planing on selling this place. about 50 k and building a van, cargo trailer or ambulance to live Out of not in. at under 1 k a mo. I am Not rich. I have a place for the cold months. plan on sticking around Mich. up here in the Manistee National Forest. Check out Cheep RV living, So so many ideas
Hello, Cathy Bumgarner If you enjoyed this video check out or camper playlist. ua-cam.com/play/PLJmAwjBwlfgIS2tibNdLT7OYkOd4w_YES.html Thanks for watching!
I prefer my Holiday Rambler Aluma Lite mini camper Class A fifth wheel one,but the futuristic retro one with the bridge is my favorite designed one. My craziest camping trip was to Mississippi when we met Doc and his wife .
Man, I'd love to have that VW camper! I had 2 standard VW buses in the past, and they were both good little workhorses. The camper would be a blast, especially with a modded 2180 cc engine to drag it around at an acceptable speed.😍👍
Happy to run into this clip, as I was the one that found #5 in 2002 in a very bad condition and renovated it. In 2006 LA TIMES found out about it and dedicated the whole Sunday center page to its story. I loved traveling with it. An awsome find.👍🍾🥂
Wow, some really great Ideas for a Home on Wheels. I liked the VW Bus the best.Sure I'm German but it's not that. It's memories I had one, not as fancy though. Really well done, especially the Top.
Great...thanks. Now the Jeopardy theme is stuck in my head and its only 7:17 am. Awesome!!! Randy Grubb's Decoliner was.my favorite out of all of them. With the apocalyptic looking behemoth coming in second. Cool video though. And even though the Jeopardy theme is stuck in my head I guess I'll subscribe.
Loved all of them, but I owned a 2001 VW Eurovan, & VW vans are just so. much. FUN to drive, that I have to give a thumbs up to the VW remodel. VW vans are worth restoring/refinishing/remodeling...whatever you want to do w/ 'em! They are as individual as the people who own them.
Thanks for watching everyone! 😍

Minds Eye Design is the voice over by Jason lee?
Minds Eye Design tell Cassie I said hi and that I love her lol 😉😋🤤
Reacher MED Oh ok, you definitely have a Jason lee esk about your voice, I mean that as a compliment.
The VW Van one MUST have a larger engine, no way is that little four-banger going to move all that weight!
Minds Eye Design t
How GORGEOUS is #5? What a beautiful restoration!
#1 hands down as well as #5. Watching this and seeing craftmanship from different parts of the world was very enriching. Really a lot of talented folk out there.
Love the vintage ones especially. They are unique and have character.
Diantha I love old stuff because I was born in 1968 I seen it all when I was growing up
Flyte Camp restorations are the best!
#13 would be perfect for apocalypses!!
Loved camper # 6 & 1, both unique & great looking.!!!
Number 5 hands down is the one for me!
The VW without a doubt. I’m a Vdub man thru and thru. I had a VW Westfalia camp mobile and it was by far the most fun and exciting vehicle I have ever owned.
The VW Snail Camper is really awesome!
15 love it its beautiful

Great video.

Would love #13! All in all very cool!
Good stuff!
I love the one that can be drove from the top.
They're all pretty cool, but I really like the Hippy shack!
I could watch videos on campers every day, especially good ones like yours!
Number 1 is my favourite 🥰👍
WATCHED ALL OF THEM TWICE AND STILL CANT CHOSE JUST ONE AS A FAVORITE LOL
They are all very unique!
I agree!
I like the Jungle Yacht. It reminds me of a Mobile Home my Mother-in-law lived in for a while. The Art Deco design is just beautiful with its functionality.
For me number 5 is the number one !
Very good commentary, very imformative.
The van with the modular camper was my favorite. You can drop it, set it up and use the vans cargo space to hit Walmart for supplies!
I loved number five! It was what made me watch this video...Model X Flyte Camp. I would live in this and never leave home!
Dave from N Z Over the past 60 years have built my own campers different designs But these are all top machines that their designers can be proud of Enjoying the comforts and out doors Love them
I think I would like to try #5!! I agree these are crazy campers but fun to look at!!!!
Definitely the Decoliner is my favorite. A true work of art.
That 50's model x trailer was the bomb. Classic lines artwork.
All are great , but the 1962 trailer, 1 of 2 , oh man, it's a piece of beauty. That curved glass is out of this world, and what a great restoration on that interior and outside too I guess. It's gorgeous. Only thing is missing is me. Great video.
Some creative pieces in that collection. Found it pretty darn fascinating.
Number3, the DeckoLiner is sure pretty🥰❤️💯👍🏼

I think Jay Leno owns that one with a flying bridge now.
Number five was my favorite. I like the looks and layout inside and out. This unit I think could be used for full timing.
The model x camper was bad ass.
The VW Bus camper is the the best! I would love to own that!
I have watched this video many times and cannot get enough of it!!!!!
Up until now I've never wanted a prototype. I love that Toyota RV-2!
I AM a big VW bus fan and I approve #1!🍕🍺👍🏆
Wow! Love the VW!
Some really imaginative offerings...the narration is great. Loved the Jeopardy theme song reference in #1.
Wow such unique idea's!
My favorite is👍🌎 the Toyota RV-2
Number 5 is gorgeous, I’d love to own it.
LIKE THE SNAIL CAMPER AND NO 3
I like the repurposed army fire truck. The view would never be blocked and would be all the better from the height.
The last one was sharp
Of course I love number three the rarest
These are the craziest campers I have ever seen, that is for sure, but I love them!!!!!!!
NUMBER 14 WAS GREAT. SO NICE TO SEE A CAMPER AIMED AT RETIREIES! WE ARE OUT THERE AND LOVE TO CAMP. WE DO BUY SO THINK ABOUT IT MANUFACTORS!!!
Hi Cassie youaaare the number 1

#2 was my favorite! That was soooooooooo cool! Actually could be modernized & be a big hit today.
I,love that Flyte Camper, gorgeous retro styling
Mini wild goose is cool
I love #5 it's the most beautiful of them all.
The Deco Liner and the VW are my style.
Wowsers theses are ingenious, I think my favourite is number 13, I would like one, but not with the deck area, even tho this video is 2yrs old thanks 💖😁
My uncle was the one that bought the 1938 aerocar tractor RV in this video!!!!!!! I think only two were ever made.
I plan on doing a video or photoshoot of it if I can get down to where it is this summer
That's awesome!
@@alexhippie2 I would love to see the photos if you make it down. Message me if you do maybe we can do a feature on our website or another video.
@@mindseyedesign I just got confirmation that my uncle will let me do a video/ photos of the camper when he gets back from vacation, I'm not sure how to private message you though
great look at some really neat creations
Those were some pretty cool looking campers. I think the last VW one was my favorite one...except it was pretty low to the ground
Number 5, the Holiday House Model X is just stunning...
I love #5 & #1 , both amazing and I would be honored to live in/travel in either
If love #5!!
Not more than a week ago i saw a former school bus with a deck added over the roof & a 6' x 8' tent on the deck. I thought to myself how practical, affordable & fun.

# 5 with the pure art deco design wins the competition
I have 2 favorites. Number 5 for obvious reasons & number 1 I just love the VW campers.
This is really well curated, great production values and editing. Found some really cool stuff . It's funny how the intentionally futuristic stuff is novelty cool but doesn't stand the test of time but the functional, classic & retro ones are works of art Great job 👍Thx
I liked the last one for VW. My first car was a VW Beetle!!
I like number 1,2 and 3

A joy to watch and I Evan learned a few things. Thanks again.
Got to see the Decoliner a few years ago. Came through our town up in N.Michigan. Really cool!
The Ford Wagon with the boat was wild. The Snail Camper was my favorite. Thanks.

No 5 the best one ! Awesome ! I'd love to have this !😀😉
#2 we had that set up when I was a kid. Lots of great memories there!

Always had a soft spot for the old VW combi, so, yes, my favourite for sure🧡🧡👍
Any RV with a bathtub is OK in my book!🐸
