I have designed a fold out tiny house that is wheelchair accessible as per ADA rules, came about because of my friends mum from primary school back in late 1992 and 1993 up until 2010 or so when my friend moved down country
THIS IS A REALLY GREAT VIDEO TO WATCH BECAUSE IT SHOWS THE VARITY THATS OUT!!! THERE AND THIS VIDEO IS JUST A DROP IN THE BUCKET. KEEP WATCHING MINDS EYE VIDEOS AND I WILL GARINTEE YOU WILL FIND A PERFECT FIT.
My favorite was the VW trailer conversion, every time I see those Cassita travel trailers I often think how neat that would be to put a motorized front end on it.
For seniors who have serious to marginal balance problems, FOLDING RECUMBENT TADPOLE TRIKES are the perfect solution for an exponential augmentation of the RV experience. Check out the HP Velotechnik Scorpion FS or the Scorpion PLUS. The AZUB Ti - Fly, the ICE Adventure, the Greenspeed Magnum or Magnum XL Trike, and the more affordable Spike 280. Electric power assist is available for most all as well.
Nothing better than transforming your own SUV into a camper. Upgrading from a tent And not spending a arm and leg for a trailer Then having to find storge My Chevy Blazer I removed the rear seats, Torn down the plastic trim on the walls, Spray foamed from the floor to the roof. And put in cedar flooring and walls My bed frame is wood slats and a foldable top. Above the wheel wells Which we are able to fit a queen size 4" thick memory foam matress. And lots of storage under the bed Leftside behind the driver is My spare tire and jack And inverter Rightside 2 car batteries each with 190 reserve cap 200W solar panel fixed to the roof LED interior lighting And electrial outlet I have 3 sources of incoming power Solar, Upgraded Alternator, And outside hook up cord I have Thick drapes behind the front seats which hold heat in the rear longer and at higher temps Last fall in the Canadian north We spend 3 days 2 nights in -15C weather We did not need any heater source And only 1 of the 3 heavy blankets I also travel with a 5 gallon water jug For drinking and light cleaning While camping we still have room for a big cooler for food and all chothing, fishing gear, laptop, cooking utensils, Hatchet, tarps/ropes 100ft of power cord ...And in case of bears keys are left in the steering wheel ..Something you can't do in a trailer lol (side note: I tested a small electrical heater on low I get 3.5 hrs of non stop heat from the 2 batts 2hrs on full which i really need a thermo timer because it gets too hot and im sure i could get 5 hours and 3 hrs set to room temp in the cold) The battery system set up lets me run power off the 2nd And 3rd battery But not use the 1st one And if the first one ever gets drained I can get power of the other ones to start This year we are driving to Baniff to see lake louise from the Toronto area Can't think of the gas with hauling a trailer Or pulling over tired and setting up a tent ..I might get a small toilet There is room for one Not so much for camping as we do mostly parks with set ups and bathrooms but for the long drives And you get that pain and nothing around for 40 kms at night Hope to post a video in the next month or two
I've been thinking about making a camper out of a 16 foot trailer or a 20 foot car hauler. I'm in a wheelchair so getting through a regular camper isn't very handicap friendly. A toy hauler made from a 20 foot trailer is really going through my head more & more. Thanks for these videos as they are useful in giving me ideas that I haven't thought about.
2 favorites. #2 obvious reasons and because my husband and i got an amazing opportunity to do some camper living for 3 years. I highly recommend. Would have loved #2. Also #3 for more traditional- ish camping.... Became minds eye junkies 3 months ago. Love all your videos especially all the different homes. Hope you guys keep em coming. Well back to binge-watching
Hi Mollie C, Thank you so very much!. How fascinating. Living the mobile life must have been a pleasant change of pace adventure. I think the majority of people I know all hope to one day live that life Sure would love to hear more about the time you spent camper living and what you learned during experience. I have been flip-flopping on the possibility of the change for a couple years now. I'm not sure if you know of UA-camr Alan Heath? I think you may enjoy his channel as well. Alan's posts about his experiences living out of a motorhome and camper reviews among other related content. We are working on some collaboration videos with him in the near future. ua-cam.com/users/alanheath Feel free to link me to your site or channel if you have a travel vlog, blog or anything online you share publicly about the experience. Thanks again!
I love #8 the TripBuddy Caravan! I like the composite shell! Less chance for leaks! And it reminds me of my mom and dad’s old Shasta camper trailer. I loved that trailer! Great video! 👍👍❤️
Mogo box on wheels w/ lowering bed & both sides gull wing is very diff & practical. Less than camping & more for mobile sales & display unit nice. I like it work at beach not play most days.
I like the 1st and 2nd to the last campers the are pop up tent trailers. They are designed to expand beyond the tent trailer giving it more space. I've see canvas pop up tent trailers even with a heat and A/C option to keep you comfy all year round camping.
I agree with your #1 choice as the layout alone and pop-up design allow for the most amount of walk-around space I've ever seen but at even 33,756 (10,000 Less) I think that's a hefty price to sell for a trailer.
Future video: a collection of RVs designed with heights, widths, lengths that are out of the norm, particularly those that can accommodate folks that aren't average! (6'7" or taller, or those requiring assistive devices like walkers, wheel chairs, or the like. Kudos on the wheelchair entry point in the current video! It becomes a real challenge when you combine needs. Husband 6'7", wife in wheelchair with oxygen unit!)
I am not Neil , love that Orion Suleica Caravan that floats , my dream rv would be a cross between this camper and a GMC rv , with a skylight entrance to the roof , with a fireplace , with insulation good enough to live in all year , with built proof glass for protection from falling trees or burglars , with back up camera with night vision with cameras on each exterior wall . with a canoe mounted on top , with part of the top as a patio , and solar power and a 12 v fridge . a compost toilet , with a wheel chair ramp that could be pulled out at the main entrance , with a back door to a slide out cedar deck , on top a few small flower pots built in to grow fresh vegetables for salads . I bet that such a rv would solve the homeless problem in a fabulous way , if only governments would spend money on making cool year round RVs instead of waisting money other things . I would rather see the homeless in a safe place . most people are just one paycheck away from being homeless and that stress in my opinion is unacceptable . I believe that if the public had better choices then we would see less suicides in the world and an explosion of creativity if stress of life was reduced . its fun to dream . I would rather have this than a house or condo or an apartment . I think an rv would be a safer choice to live in during earth quakes , and such a design that floats on water would make water damage a thing of the past , such could be designed with fire proof materials as well . it would be like a mini yacht you could drive on the roads .
I love the tear drops that have pop out tents. I would like to see trailers that can be towed behind cars (as opposed to SUV's and trucks) great to hear from Reacher again too!
Thank you so very much for not signing off with the standard lie, “See you next time.”! I really do appreciate the comment of, “Thanks for watching.”! It acknowledges my time and proves to me that you understand how video actually works. Anyway, really, THANK YOU FOR READING! Digitally yours, Mark W.
Quick up and the Galileo trailer are super innovative designs too bad the challenge of production costs couldn’t be tackled. Most cool designs haven’t succeeded because of superior quality and final costs.
The Edge design is the most compact.Extremely important to have hard sides for protection from dangerous animals. Food should be on the exterior to avoid break and enter bears. Security is a problem camping in the bush or a parking lot .
My favorite was the extravagant one with the deck on top and the hot tub, probably not practical for those on the go having to drain the hot tub to travel I'm guessing but still gets the nod.
Sadly enough I didn’t think they were as good as the 1970 ish Steury camper. I had possibly the only one in the UK. It was brought to the uk by an English family who lived in the US for a couple of years and the best way to get their belongings home was in the steury camper, then we bought it. It needed a full breaking system for the uk but then we were away. Slept 8 but there were only 5 of us so lots of room. I’m still looking for something as spacious.
My favourite here in Australia has long been the Bolwell Edge since it was released 5 years ago. I recently suggested to Bolwell that they offer the interior layout of the Cotswold based Barefoot Caravan, with a stylish a compact ensuite toilet/shower. The Edge only has an external ensuite tent at this point. They have advised me that there are no plans to expand the range at this stage. Pity. Lightweight, Stylish, Rugged with internal shower & toilet. This is the Holy Grail of Caravans for exploring Australia with a more ecofriendly rig with a smaller tow vehicle when you 'Go Bush'. The 'clamshell' Ecotourer ensuite off road is the next best option but lacks the external slideout kitchen.

We just posted a 20k and under camper video a few weeks ago. We have a 10k and under video currently underway. And just for the record, we don't normally post about common items you may see on television commercials or normal everyday bargain items. We tried to post videos as you suggest,as a result I found no one really wants to watch videos like that. At least statistically anyway. This channel has always been about design and innovation I have never focussed on price as the inspiration, and I wish the viewers wouldn't either. However, because of that same viewer feedback, realize price is an important factor and will include topics similar to the 20k and under campers more in the future.

@@TydalWind hahaha Yeah, in most places I haul these 13-foot loads we have to get special permits to even haul them on the interstate and in some cases had to do different routes to avoid the lower 12-foot older ones.
You all do a very good job show me different things I really like that then you also show me pretty girls on the end of each film I like that too just keep up the good work I love you all bye-bye
Thanks for watching everyone! 😍

I LOVED THE BOLWELL EDGE!
Pretty awesome. I like #14 and #15
The Futuria is like the rig on Night Rider.
I,personally LOVED your #1 the EDGE! by Bolwell
# 14 , # 3 , # 2 ....I liked
I was excited with number 8 wheelchair useable model. A whole feature for mobility users would be fantastic.
Number 3 was my favorite
THIS IS A REALLY GREAT VIDEO TO WATCH BECAUSE IT SHOWS THE VARITY THATS OUT!!! THERE AND THIS VIDEO IS JUST A DROP IN THE BUCKET. KEEP WATCHING MINDS EYE VIDEOS AND I WILL GARINTEE YOU WILL FIND A PERFECT FIT.
My favorite was the VW trailer conversion, every time I see those Cassita travel trailers I often think how neat that would be to put a motorized front end on it.
The one with the balcony, is fantastic, that’s the one I could actually live in if I needed to.
I liked number 2 the best. I liked that it had a separate lounge area up top

Last fall in the Canadian north We spend 3 days 2 nights in -15C weather We did not need any heater source And only 1 of the 3 heavy blankets I also travel with a 5 gallon water jug For drinking and light cleaning While camping we still have room for a big cooler for food and all chothing, fishing gear, laptop, cooking utensils, Hatchet, tarps/ropes 100ft of power cord ...And in case of bears keys are left in the steering wheel ..Something you can't do in a trailer lol
(side note: I tested a small electrical heater on low I get 3.5 hrs of non stop heat from the 2 batts 2hrs on full which i really need a thermo timer because it gets too hot and im sure i could get 5 hours and 3 hrs set to room temp in the cold) The battery system set up lets me run power off the 2nd And 3rd battery But not use the 1st one And if the first one ever gets drained I can get power of the other ones to start
This year we are driving to Baniff to see lake louise from the Toronto area Can't think of the gas with hauling a trailer Or pulling over tired and setting up a tent ..I might get a small toilet There is room for one Not so much for camping as we do mostly parks with set ups and bathrooms but for the long drives And you get that pain and nothing around for 40 kms at night

This guy makes the weather forecast more exciting to hear
Thank you Reges always enjoy watching your camper videos
Wooow number 3 & 2 are just simply the best!!!
I like the Mink #7. It all i would need.
All the campers are cool. They only feature I require is a loo. Everything else is a bonus.
Well I am impressed!!!!
5-2 FAVORITES.
#8 with the wheelchair access was really cool!

Easy choice for me, must be the Orion in caravan or camper form, super stylish.
I love the tear drops that have pop out tents. I would like to see trailers that can be towed behind cars (as opposed to SUV's and trucks) great to hear from Reacher again too!
Number 5 & 1 are the best!!!
The numbering from 5 to 1 is interesting. 5,3,4,3,2,1 or something like that :-)

Some very cool rigs, but most if not all when having a washroom were too expensive and the rest just did not! Very Well Done and Presented. THX
this video well made congratulations !!!!

I think I will take #2, looks pretty cool tome!!!!!
🛖 . . I like #2 Kabe Tower 880. Needs a better color scheme for the outside. Does it come with an expresso? 😁 LoL
all very cool in their own category and really neat to see and dream about all of them. Thanks for posting!
My favorite was the extravagant one with the deck on top and the hot tub, probably not practical for those on the go having to drain the hot tub to travel I'm guessing but still gets the nod.

Top 8 were great. Will have to scour the description to see what I might afford. Keep up the great work Reacher.
Another fantastic video!!!
Pretty sure that no 8 (Tripbuddy) went out of business.
Liked the number 1 pick.
Interesting choices.
Nice loved them all...thank you

I like number 4
love the campers, they sure are unusual, Just the right size for little old. me
Nice
Always great to watch

KABE is swedish bro
Yes,I Know....they also build mobile homes
Number 1👍
I was waiting for a upload
How about a video of camping trailers that are towable by side by sides and quads?
Hi Mama Darius, I agree good suggestion, I have a mini size camper list going, but have stalled on it finding enough to finish. If you see anything good feel free to link me. We have one other video in this category already, and I'm not sure if you've seen it yet, so here's the link. it's video #24 on our camper playlist ua-cam.com/play/PLJmAwjBwlfgIS2tibNdLT7OYkOd4w_YES.html
I love the double decker and the last camper, you make me laugh
You should add Taxa product and RV.
Everything u showed r just awesome. Where r u located? Have cash.
09' basic pull trailer w/poptop section of roof so u get a toy closet is pure diff genius & only 400 made collector camper special.
Number 2 is too tall to fill under most overpasses
I fast forward thru anything that doesn't have an indoor shower/toilet.
I would like to see campers that are small. Yes, but that house everything in a small space that is workable. I would like to see different spaces.
WOW, if I win the lottery I ordering #2!
I love number two. The problem would be clearances as far as bridges are concerned. 15 feet is too high for most bridges
I want number 3
Missed Patriot Campers out of Australia.

Home made camper conversions
Have you ever considered a video of teardrop for hunters/deep woods. Or even for a "buyout camper" for " prepers "?
Good idea, we have featured many teardrops but I don't think we have a video specific to them. Thanks for another great suggestion, I'll add it to our lists of lists to do.
Yes😍the number 4 😜
I'm totally ok with that "cheat" you did, its BaddAss, Mercedes Benz and cool. Also check out the Bruder X .... OMG
I. Would like to see all weather trailer
Reacher all fascinating but could you review some that we can afford please..
l love your videos and l hope that you have a whole lot more. My favs are the truck camper combos, altho l think the ones above are super for holidaying:)xx
like your videos, watching them to get ideas for my own homebuilt toyhauler! maybe you can do on on homebuilts ?
Thank you! Yes we can, very good topic suggestion. I'll talk with Reacher about such a list and see what we can come up with. Feel free to contact me anytime if you know of any that deserve a spot. 👍
I see all the innovative design & then I get hIT w/ the price tag.... lmao, it stops me cold but it doesn't stop me from
thinking up designs in my own build? A used box-truck gets you started & I'm looking at one now. Videos like this
spark ideas & I ty for uploading it.... peace
This one this one..... this one
I upgraded my cassette toilet to a CD toilet.
gotta try streaming that is the way to go!
Real ReacherMED - I know, but the last thing I’d want to do in a camper toilet is streaming. (And don’t even get me started on downloading!)
I had to go retro 8 track the water was too cold 😎
Number 2 is too high for a lot of Interstate highway underpasses, and not just the parkways of the northeast.
7, 8 , 1 - more 7 as I like just a place to sleep and every thing else out side -- the wife would like 1 more and 8 would would be a compromise for the both of us.
Cheers
The Kabe would be scary in America since most bridges on freeways are only 16 feet high so no sunbathing on the roof while driving.
Here in the northeast, most bridges on the interstates are ~13ft... this trailer would NOT make it very far, At All!
@@TydalWind hahaha Yeah, in most places I haul these 13-foot loads we have to get special permits to even haul them on the interstate and in some cases had to do different routes to avoid the lower 12-foot older ones.

hey Minds eye is there a camer or something close to allow those who have trouble climbing stairs?
Have you ever done a video for Horse Trailers with Living Quarters?
