On their "Live Through This" from 1994, Curt Cobain did some stuff musically, but he didn't do much writing, I think...
from 0:45 to 1.07 they took it from the end of Joy Division´s "Day of the Lords" showing respect for the one of the best ever RIP Ian. I love BIT and this track is huge definitely my fav of them. Compare Kat to Courtney is a massive musical heresy... to say the least! Love Babes

The last time visiting courtney in Hollywood(about 2 yrs. ago) The first 2 days went semi-smooth, but, on the 3rd day, out of nowhere, courtney walks in the room pointing her finger at Kat and screaming repeatedly "I know you think you invented me Kat." Then courtney ran out of the room and literally hides from Kat until Kat's flight home the next day. Also during that visit, courtney told Kat she was "ugly." A woman...cont. on part 2

I agree Hole is on a totally different level. Hole is a revolving door of Svengali producers and outside musicians and songwriters, led by a frontwoman who can't sing or play guitar. BIT are a living breathing band, with badass musicians... Kat actually plays the fuck out of the guitar, bends it to her will. Courtney just drapes it over her shoulder while she has one leg propped on a monitor. Hole seems to exist now to pay Linda Perry's child support payments. KAT writes her own songs!
