Cricut has finally decided to update their settings and allow Large Print the Cut images. It is Black History month and I made this super cute shirt and bag to match. I did it all with the new updates in Cricut Design Space. I made the images larger than Cricut Design Space normally allows and I am very excited to share this process with you!

Thank you for this video. I was among those waiting for Cricut to increase their print and cut dimensions. Hopefully this will now prompt manufacturers to make more product in the 11x17 size (or at least 8.5x14) for example Siser DTV, which currently only comes in 8.5x11.

💯Delonda you are Awesome - you are easy to follow - I'm in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area. Thank you for explaining the new features on Cricut. Can you explain "Sublimation" I' trying to get a better understanding, I'm not sure if I have an Sublimation Printer I have a Epson WF-7820
Thank you very much! I have an Epson 7820 also that I converted to use with sublimation ink. In my opinion, it is not the best and if you can afford it, I would recommend that you get an Epson EcoTank.

It was Siser EasyColor DTV. However, if you are going to use transfer paper, I suggest using dark transfer paper, even if the shirt is white.
Hello Delonda, I loved the video. I was so excited about the new changes in Design Space. I came across a video I saw last night talking about the changes. I new that I would get online with you to get the updates and enjoy getting thorough information which I did. Can you use any other paper for the t-shirt beside the siser easy color dtv.

I have a question about sizing down a couple of designs fron Creative Fabrica. I have the white lion and an eagle that will not fit on the canvas because it is too large. I wanted to use my own title,'Lion of Judah', on this one, but I can't upload it to the canvas. You're the only one I could think of to help. Thanks!
Are you able to type in your title above the design?
Also, use one of the shapes in design space and resize it to the same size as the item you are using. I hope that makes sense.

The Cricut is a cutting machine. It cuts what you send it to cut from Design Space.
Hello Delonda. The name change is great because your skill set is no longer limited to just Cricut. I have a question about the heart image that was sublimated…… I noticed that you mirrored the image in your printer settings but not on the print then cut screen in Cricut. Once it was printed you changed the directions of the image on the mat, so how does it know to cut it out backwards?

Hi there, I mirrored in my printer settings and I placed it on the mat in the wrong direction at first. It’s important to place your image on the mat in the exact place that it shows on the screen. If you make this design and your heart is facing right on the screen, place yours down facing right. If it’s facing left, make sure yours is facing left.
Do you always have to flatten the images or could you use group
Grouping only keeps the image together in design space.

What’s the difference between 125g and 120g sublimation paper you use
125g is the thickest. It's best to use it when you have high saturation of ink. I usually use 125G. However, I didn't have 125g in the 8.5 x 14 size. 120g is the middle of the road.

Hi Delonda! I did a shirt for my niece. So I did a print and cut. On the picture the face started to peel. Is it because the way it was washed? It was a black girl, with Puff balls and the writing. On the forehead where it started to peel.
Hi there, I am really not sure. When I washed my Siser EasyColor DTV, I wash it inside out on warm water.
@@CraftingwithDelonda oh ok it was different brand. It was done for Valentine's Day foe her to wear it to school. Normally it would hold up for couple of wash. When I do print and cut. Still learning, I don't know if she washed it warm or cold. But this is only shirt that did it. Like my vinyl when I try to do two layers it doesn't last long. My sister iron several times when washed now it doesn't looked good no more. I have easy press, plus it's hard for me to put my weight down. Thanks for replying back. God Bless you!❤️

Hi there, I think because it was only one piece. I don't remember.
@@CraftingwithDelonda ok. The project that you used it on was the teacher shirt, if that helps.
Oh, I was able to pull it up without needing the mask. If you have some of the backing that is left over from some of your heat transfer vinyl, you can use that instead of the mask.
