    Nice idea but not a great project. You can totally see the seam. I don't know why cricut can't just come up with a large format print and cut. It's like they're not even listening to us.

      You can make it as close as you want for the seems to be virtually invisible, I just wasn't perfect at that time. I created a milestone blanket for our Pro Course 2 and the seems are perfect. I think it's a great hack for getting around the Cricut restrictions.

    While this is ok for some, I think it’s horrible that cricut can’t adapt so that we can use a full page...this is just a lot of wasted “expensive” paper.

      Makers Gonna Learn Not to belabor the point but besides the huge waste of black ink when mere markers could suffice, we lose at minimum 1/3 of each page. There is a hack if you have Photoshop that allows you to use the full page...I’ll try to find the link and post it

      Makers Gonna Learn :Unfortunately with certain printable vinyl images I need to put under clear epoxy (which is a damn magnifying glass🙄) that seam shows. Soooooo when does Cricut have it on the calendar to roll out this MUCH NEEDED feature? (•screams, runs &

    I GOT IT!!! You have to turn the shape to fit most of the project. It maybe tall or it may need to be sideways. I had to turn mine side ways (9.25 x 6.75). For the seam you just have to match as best as possible.

      You'd probably just use the 9.25 x 6.75 rectangle as a guideline for your sliced pieces then.
      Make the rectangle, resize your pieces accordingly (grouping the pieces so that they all resize together, then ungrouping when you're done), then delete the rectangle without any further slicing.

      You can use other brands, I just meant that every brand has different instructions as to if you mirror it, what setting to cut it on, etc. So read up on the brand you have to make sure you're using it properly :)

    so I’m using Starcraft for darks so I don’t have to mirror it. However when I send it to print the colors are faded and I have a new ink is there a way to fix this?

      Mine prints the same when using starcraft. But once you press the colors should brighten up.

I’m not sure what to do afterwards , could it be because maybe I need to turn my square sideways ? I’m trying to print a square image 10x8.5 . To anyone who will take their time to help me I would greatly appreciate it, thank you 😊

    • @MakersGonnaLearn
      @MakersGonnaLearn  4 роки тому

      Well that depends! What do you mean by the process not working? The product not cutting well? Not adhering well? Or do you mean you can see the line on the finished product? Sometimes that is an issue. We recommend if you're having issues with this technique to instead heat one piece at a time. This can help with lining the pieces up too :) Best of luck!

    I’ve tried about 10 times and the warning signs do not go away... any suggestions

    • @MakersGonnaLearn
      @MakersGonnaLearn  3 роки тому

      The issue is simple. You will have no warning signs if your squares are the correct size :) Make sure your square is no larger than 6.75" by 9.25" :) Even a single digit larger and you will get a warning sign. Make sure all your slices peaces are no larger than that, and you'll be good to go!

    I don’t understand why not just buy a wide format printer, print it on a transfer, cut it out and press? All that work for one solid image seems pointless. It’s understandable for lettering though.
