I feel like Obsius fb should be more known for how amazing their quality of products they make. They make great fingerboards, wheels and trucks with amazing packaging. Great review on one of the best trucks out there
Today I finally received my first set of Obsius 32mm trucks - and I'm really impressed! Their quality and finish is amazing, but they not only fit my setup's aesthetics perfectly but improved its feel massivly which might be owed to the higher weight of those trucks, but that's exactly what I was looking for!
I have a set of BRT on my 34mm setup and I couldn't tell which was better, probably coming down to preference.
They not only sent the tin box with the trucks, a mini tool and plenty of replacement bushings, pivot cups as well as screws and replacement kingpins in both black and silver but also included a separate bag with stickers and a full size screwdriver tool, all in a visually pleasing _Obsius_ carton box.
And that's what you'll get for 45€/$45 including shipping - a clear recommendation!

I've been using my obsius trucks for a few months now, and they've become my favorite. My main reason is the weight. They're the heaviest trucks I've used, and it adds to the pop. Tricks just feel more solid and nicer with the extra heft.

Glad to see the review. This look really good and thinking of getting one of their boards as my main. Tried a tech tuning but not super impressed. Just wish they had solid color wheels on their website. FInally tried both and I think I actually prefer Obs so far but one is 34 and one is 32mm so not apples to apples, but the Ob are really nice for the money and have a fantastic finish.

Obsius trucks have the potential to be the best on the market if they fix a couple minor drawbacks... First add an option to have a locknut kingpin since inverted kingpins just inevitably come loose without loctite, and then change the proprietary pivot cup design to something more universal or at least sell replacements. If they are going to make V2 version they might as well add hanger cutouts for the 34s like they did on the current 32s, especially since they're the heaviest on the market and could benefit from that slight weight reduction.

I got a pair and they are sooo good, you should try UAG trucks as to compare to Blackriver cuz they are regular Axle with nut truck,some of my favs rn and I have most of the trucks out rn.

I just got a obsius fb full set up with bowl wheels a couple months ago. I only had teak tuning before this. After using the fb over these past couple months I don’t think I could buy a different brand now lol the teak tuning boards feel like a cheap tech deck compared to it. I’m suprised you didn’t mention the weight of the trucks. Compared to my teak 34mm setups they make the board feel so heavy. I like how the king pin doesn’t make contact on 50/50 type slides. Also I need to know what grip tape obsius uses because it is the best tape I’ve ever used. I need more of it foreal lol they don’t sell it.

Seen a few people say this brand is good. Def thinking about buying a complete set this weekend. How are the wheels tho? Wish they had solid colors.

I really really wanted to like my blackriver complete, with 3.0's but unfortunately I just can't say that I do. The hangars on brts sit closer to the center of the board, whereas dynamics and obsius sit closer to nose and tail. This makes a huge difference to me.
@@v_a_n4203 have you tried a pair? I got more brts than dynamics because the brts perform the best. The weight and turning is amazing!

Dont buy teak or bullgod.
Great brands for decks are for example: cowply, dum1, worm, foard20, funeral co, glued asf, plentychips, normal human decks and 8equals.
For trucks get brts or dynamics but brts are a lot better.
For wheels the best imo are flatface, winkler and rolling fingers.

Their boards and wheels are amazing, but the trucks fall apart after a few sessions. I broke two pairs of axels and I’ve never broken trucks before.

Cause I was deadass thinking of buying a complete but I’m probably just gonna get a complete from dynamic. I used to have a Berlinwood complete with BRT’s and blackriver edition wheels, but gave it away when I was younger lol. I’m trying to find another complete/brand with that same quality as blackriver.
@@EthanEngel-tl4bh dynamic is definitely the way to go. I own most pro trucks and I always end up riding either BRTs or dynamics.

Are brts worth it and better than dynamics? I have a pair of dynamics but I don’t have a pair of brts but I don’t know if I should get the brts or not and I don’t know if the 2.0 or 3.0 are better somebody please help 🙏🏽

honestly economically no. maybe for their work put into them? I am not a person to support china but, I managed to get 10 brt replicas well 5 of those and 3 dynamic and 2 caramael 35mm wide trucks. all identical. I have had no probelms. I honestly see a lot of companies going to alli and ordering builk customized sizing and color, shape options etc. only a select few make all their own trucks and wheels
Just get brts. Doesnt really matter if u pick 2.0 or 3.0 but 3.0 may last a little longer. I have a pair of brts from 2016 and they still feel absolutelu amazing. Best truck out there brts and definetly the most durable. And brts also fot more wheels, wheels don rattle at all but spin amazing!
Stick with Dynamics or try these obsius trucks. I absolutely love my obsius complete. I have a blackriver pro complete, and aside from the cool graphic, I kind of hate it. Also, the only difference with the 3.0 is the graphic on the baseplate... AND dynamic and obsius both ship super fast.
