I actually really like the feel of the deck and bushings the Hot Wheels boards come with, but I wish they wouldn’t rivet the wheels and trucks on. I like being able to switch out parts if I want to.

I have a decent $40 setup and some $20ish amazon complete setups... I've never bought the really expensive stuff so I don't have too much of a comparison of what is the perfect setup... But I've got to say the $3.50 hot wheels board I got at walmart is pretty cool. I really love the trucks and wheels, they swivel like crazy yet stay firm when riding, and you never have to worry about the tuning or nuts popping loose. The wheels roll as good as the $15 range bearing wheels. It's the perfect low cost thing to shove in your pocket and not care so much if you lose it or scratch it up or get it dirty doing stuff on concrete or whatever outside. I want to do the opposite mod, and put the hot wheels trucks on a wood deck.

Nice the board has a nice mellow shape and it’s a 34mm for $4! With even adding just foam grip it’s a solid cheap setup! Those wheels are cool btw!
