Sounds like it's time for an armadillo catch and cook, "right around the corner "

  • @MarkJLarsonOutdoors

Thats crazy! I'm glad we don't have them up here! Thank you for sharing my friend!!

My wife and I did the same thing in a small 15 mile stretch of road in southeast Missouri the other day on 67 highway and it was 14 on one side.

I wonder if that’s where our turkeys are going? Armadillos eating their eggs?

  • @zworm2

Be aware, Armadillos do carry leprosy. It is an extremely difficult disease to catch from another infected source. I have eaten armadillo. I had a friend, in Oklahoma, who used to to hunt and eat them. He called them Possum(which he also ate) on the half shell. They tasted good. Just be careful handling them and cook them really well.

Thankfully they haven’t made it to Iowa yet! 😂

Mark, they might be a delicacy! Yummy, Armadillo on the halfshell. Will they pop in hot oil?

a lot of the ones I've seen look like they're just sunbathing

I live in Springfield but when I was a kid about 45 years ago in Verona MO I saw my first armadillo. When I told people they did think I was crazy. But they were wrong they everywhere now. I read someone talking about a catch and cook. I am pretty sure I read they can carry the leprosy virus. Research first.
