I use to use chubs caught 100's of cats with ,but now here in northwest ohio i can hardly find them in all the places i use to get them, hello from Ohio i love your state been there a few times i like your catch and cook thanks for sharing your videos!
Just a tip . When freeze the fish . Add water to them in the bag then freeze them , also take out the air out of the bag like you do ,they will be alot fresher when you use them. I do that with all the fish I freeze . No matter if it is for bait or food.
I’m not absolutely certain but I think you might have had just as much fun catching the bait as you do when you you’re using the bait to catch some catfish, lol

neat video sir ive used cut bait liver chubs bullheads they all work. and the old nightcrawler but you cant beat a live chub for big cats.

They turn to mush when thawed out.never have any luck after they're frozen

Got that. I freeze all my fish with a little water in the bag. Did not add any on these chubs because i will use them here in a few days.

We have something like that here in northern Indiana look similar but they have bumps on their head like a rash.
The males get bumps when they are spawning

Why do you call bluegill perch all the time .A perch is a completely different fish than a bluegill in my area.
It's common slang around here for pan fish. A lot of people I know call a green sunfish a black perch
