Remember doing that with family when I was younger. Wore a motorcycle helmet and a pair of coveralls and gloves. Duct taped all the seams. My job was to keep the smoke going. Some of the best honey I think I’ve ever eaten. Can’t wait to see part two 👍
I remember when I was a kid every year our dad would go out and rob a big tree and but he'd wait till it was weather was cold and bees wasn't near his active but I do remember loving it
I'm binge watching your channel. I like the way you do it. I'm from Pampa, TX. but I now live down the road from y'all in Lebanon, MO. Have a Blessed day.
Most of that will have brood laid in the center of the combs. Makes great chicken feed, but you wanna make sure you separate that from the comb you crush to harvest the honey. I'm surprised that they didn't have quite a bit more comb. Enjoy!
That dark honey I would say was from last year. I have ten hives last year was a bumper crop of real dark honey, I’m not sure from what. This year I did not get one frame of honey. Late freezes and then to much rain. Here in southeast Missouri.
