The Final Fantasy that got me hooked on RPGs as a kid and to this day is my favourite of the series! From the specialised characters you obtain throughout the journey and combat that can have you guessing at times, the amount of things to do in side quests and finding optional bosses and secret weapons and summons, to the story that constantly throws you twists and turns throughout and also doesn't take itself too seriously at other times. There's so much more to the story that this video just doesn't cover, and I urge anyone who hasn't played it yet to pickup the SNES version and give it a go.
Thank you for this short yet quality run through of FF4. It saved me a lot of time to invest in other things!
The music in final fantasy 4 some of the best in the entire franchise.

I needed this! I'm playing FFIV right now, but for various reasons i was unable o keep playing for a lot of time, and being unable to finish an RPG makes it really hard to play again, so I needed to recapitulate everything that had happened until the point where I am. Thank you! You have a new sub
Every mistake in this video (I'm sorry, no judgement, thank you for the content, I just can't help it):
1:26 - 1:34 "Kain takes Rydia to the nearest town." Kain went missing and it was Cecil who took her to the nearest town.
2:43 - 2:51 "Rydia stays behind, but the rest of the group set off," Rydia went with them to Mt Hobbs.
4:38 - 4:43 "The party discovers Cid, an airship pilot, trapped in the dungeons, and they free him." Cid was locked up in the dungeons, but he broke out himself, and went after that imposter King, only to find Cecil and the rest of the party in the throne room.
5:34 - 5:36 "They set off from the Dwarven Kingdom." They set off TO the Dwarven Kingdom. (Just a small grammar mistake, but I guess I'll throw it in)
and that's it. I can't believe I took the time to look out for, and then write these down, only because I noticed the first two.
ANYWAY though, thanks for making this. 95% great job. I'm grateful to have a recap I can show my friend before he plays After Years. (i think that may have been a subconscious reason i decided to note the mistakes)

After playing the difficult DS version (as my first FF) for 20 hours I’m here to get the rest of the story lol so I really appreciate the use of the DS cutscenes.
I love these characters but cannot bring myself to finish it. I’ve loved what I’ve played so far, it’s just a matter of time 😅 made it past the part you meet Edge and free his parents though

Wonder if these are the actual order the games were released in or is this following the game's U.S. renumbering?
This game was originally released as final fantasy 2 in America. 4 is its true place in the series.
