      Ying main here, I'm also not a big fan of Ying. Her Candelas are so inconsistent that even if you aren't expecting to flash them and want to displace them like Macie is saying, there is actually a fairly high chance of them not being flashed if they ARE looking at it. I love Ying as a character and used to play her all of the time. The thing is, I've had people on the enemy team tell me that they aren't being flashed by Candelas. Several times nothing happens at all and others, only their HUD disappears. What is the point of expecting them to move or look away if the threat of being flashed isn't guaranteed to begin with. It makes me sad.

      I’m just gonna give you a tip that I already know
      Put an alibi on a door where a lot of people come, so when people come, they get spotted by the whole team, BUT if they try to destroy it since they have to destroy a not so big line, they’d have to aim a little, giving you chance to kill the player trying to destroy an alibi

      JoOK3R VEGETA!!!!!!!!!
      Gonna build off of the comment above me. It’s rare someone falls for Alibi’s clone, they don’t have uniforms, skins, or sights. It’s a pretty bland gadget, but it’s still great for intel. Place it at drone holes, doors, and windows so when they drone, walk, or shoot it they get spotted. And also place it at doors knowing it will get destroyed because it’s a great sound queue.
      You can also place them on top of Frost mats, not many people know that so they will vault windows thinking it’s safe when there’s a frost mat right under them, it works more than you would think actually.

      Vega! 銀 I find I trick people way more often especially at higher levels when you put them on pixel peek angles, things that are so small your screen can’t show enough to let you decipher real from fake

    Basically Ying is a less destructive but more mobile version of Fuze.

    • @DUxMORTEM
      @DUxMORTEM 5 років тому

      @Nitro Cell not really fuze removes the ability to refrag and can get outright kills without a true counter. Ying requires the player to push in and doesnt have as good of weaponry at her disposal. Her lmg isnt bad but its not as good as fuzes lmg or his AR which is one of the best in the game. Then fuze has a shield with 2 of the best pistol options available. Fuze can outright bully people if used by a good support player while ying is more a fragging op.

    I'm glad you mentioned that there's more to flashes than actually blinding enemies and running right up to them. It used to frustrate me how difficult it was to pull off. Then I realised that blinding an enemy to let you achieve a better position or just messing with their heads can be worth the price of a gadget.

    MJ, please keep up these tips & tricks videos! I have 1,000 hours in the game and didn't even know the pattern of Ying's candelas or how they bounce off walls, so I avoided using her (I went and watched the Fuze one too--didn't know that pattern either). This is so helpful.

    Loving these videos, hope to see more videos of underestimated operators like this where people think that they’re straight forward ops to play but can have a level of difficulty or hidden mechanics that prove how amazing that operator can be. Also showing off very niche techniques might be great content as well since sometimes one might think that an operator that one has chosen might be a bit limited when maybe the reality is that one can do more with that operator at given situations. If I’m not making much sense I apologize but today is one of those days where I can’t put thoughts into words efficiently lol

    Keep up the good work mate, you are the man!!
