I just ordered a 2023 Evolution D5 Ranger 4 golf cart. It comes with the sound bar in the back and sound can be controlled via the large touch screen on the dash. There are no factory speakers on the front floor and just has dummy cover plates for future speakers. Question. Is there any speaker wires installed in these areas for future speaker connections, or does installing speakers require running new wires in to both of these spaces?
Hello! There are no speaker wires running from the screen to the speaker holes. The audio wiring coming out of the screen is totally different compared to the other Evolution models so our current plug n play sound systems once work on the D5, so we've had to go back to the drawing board on create a new sound system for the D5. If you're subscribed here on UA-cam, you will see our video about the kit once we release it!
Appreciate the info. Will be on the look out. Not an audiophile and not looking for sound to blast me out of the cart. Just a balance of rear and front sound...so just adding two speakers to replace the dummie ones is all I am looking for.@@bacartsvw
It is not the same kit, but we will have a D5 kit here soon! I am currently uploading a teaser video to UA-cam right now, stay tuned, as it'll be posted soon!
We purchased and installed the speakers and amp but our kit has the lights and we don’t know how to hook them up. Is there another video showing how to install the led lights?
Hello PJ. Which kit did you buy exactly? The entry level speakers we include in the bronze package both have LEDs in them but we do not like using the LEDs in those speakers based on their design and numerous other reasons that would make the "plug n play' design very difficult. The only plug n play led options we provide are in the SVR2 and GLD4 sound systems. To make the LEDs work on the Stinger or Memphis speakers, you'll have to wire them in into an LED controller and we do not provide instructions for that.
I’m thinking about getting the kit for my evolution forester will it use a lot of battery power? Because I have LED lights too and I was wondering if I install the kit it would run my battery down faster?
12 volt electronics affect your lithium batteries very very very little. If you watch my video "maximize your lithium golf cart's lifespan" video, I talk about this in my 4th point, and go into detail explaining how little accessories like led lights and a sound system affect a 48volt battery's charge!
What do you have to do to make your radio work? I get no reception, just static. Do I need to get a better antenna? And if I do, what brand do you recommend and where do you plug it?
The amp will pull a little power if the bluetooth or radio is not turned on as the amp turns on with the turn of the key. However, even with music on, the amp draw is very very minimal.
If there's an Aux input on the soundbar then yes, you could run a RCA to 3.5mm to the soundbar. That'd be for just the sound though, the LEDs would not work together. Do you already have a soundbar?
You can repeat taht so many times..... I was told once that the word Florida means rip off. Imagine if you come down here and start using your true open sales skills on these robbers.
We don't sell it separately, I'm not sure if any body else does either. But it can be installed on the pro model (which is what I'm guessing you have if you don't have the touchscreen version of the Evolution)
Hello! No it does not. We are already in the R&d process on making a plug n play kit for the D5. If you're subscribed to our channel here you will be notified when we release the kit!
Yes we offer a front and rear Speaker option. This video just covers our entry level system. We offer a 4 speaker system that also has a plug n play LED option. We don't offer a sub option but you can add a sub by wiring another of Amp in and powering the sub with that. You can view our sound system options at this link. www.bacarts.com/rent-a-make--store#!/Evolution-Golf-Cart-Accessories/c/132387548
Memphis 6.5" marine speakers. Yes, it will fit in a 2022 forester plus. You can view this kit and our other kits on our website here. www.bacarts.com/rent-a-make--store
Select the option "Memphis" speaker if you want speakers with the plug n play Amp kit. If you want to use your touchscreen as head unit (retains radio, let's you play music and videos on thumb drive in USB port, retains phone microphone), then select the touchscreen version. If you want better sounding audio, be able to play music without touching your touchscreen (via your phone), if you want the music to continue playing if you put cart in reverse (does not with touchscreen version), and you want to be able to play music louder, then select our Bluetooth option.
Yes you can. You can select the option to purchase the Amp with harness and no speakers on our website! www.bacarts.com/rent-a-make--store#!/Evolution-100W-Plug-N-Play-2-Speaker-Sound-System-BRZ2-Touchscreen-Models-Plus-Forester-Carrier/p/492481048/category=141534115
This kit has a 2 channel 100watt amp so only two speakers can be ran on this system. The 12volt power wire in the dash is not a heavy enough gauge wire to run a larger amp. We will release a much better, louder, more powerful plug n play system within the next few months.
You can purchase at the link below! Just the kit is $295 and then $395 with entry level speakers and $495 with better speakers. www.bacarts.com/rent-a-make--store
@@tythebelieveguy4228 We will never release an led option for this current pnp kit because we don't want to run the amp and led controller off the same small wire in the dash. However, we will provide an led option for the 4 and 5 channel plug n play systems that we're currently designing. Release dates should be sometime in January.
You'll have to take it to a dealer. They either hook up their Curtis programmer or laptop depending on your Evolutions year, and then they then the torque and speed up. It's not possible without the dealer programmer/software
If you bought all of this equipment separately and had the time plus knowledge to do all of the wiring yourself, then a plug n play sound system wasn't made for you. Just like house projects, car projects, services, pretty much anything in the world, if you know how to do so something it's typically way cheaper for you to do it yourself versus hiring a professional. 99% of people that bought this kit had no idea how to do their own wiring (let alone find and buy the connectors required that plug into their Evolution) and the other 1% of people just wanted a super quick solution instead of spending substantially more time DIYing it themselves. As far as price is concerned, the MAP pricing for all of this equipment, plus shipping, is $370 and then I pay our installers to make the entire kit, so at the end of the day, we don't make much profit actually. How I see it, out of the 1,500sh people that have ordered this system, 1/4 of them would have taken their cart to an audio shop and paid atleast double of what our system cost, 1/4 of them would have figured it out themselves if they had no other options, and the other 1/2 would have never installed a sound system at all because wiring is very complicated to a lot of people out there.......Sorry for the story, not trying to go at your neck or anything like that, just backing our product! But there's a reason we've sold so many kits and that's because, for the price, it's a phenomenal solution for a lot of Evolution owners out there.

Is it the same plug and play system for the D5 Maverick? Is the under dash hook up the same? Thanks.

Definitely going to get this for my evolution!
Does this work for only an evolution or all newer electric golf carts?
Same question about your power plate

Let me know if you have any luck. I have a D5 ranger, I can get about 2 stations with static. Would like to try and antenna.
I purchased a kit. Planning to install it later this month. Does the amp draw power when the radio is not in use?

Can you link the Ecoxgear Soundbar speaker to the LED Ring light Speakers on the Cart, so they can play music togeather.

You guys need to open a shop in south Florida.
Well thanks! Were sticking to cold Ole Van Wert Ohio for now but that's why we've pushed our internet business that way we can reach more people!

can you buy that head unit seperatly?

Does this work on the new 2023 D5 evolution

Is this kit compatible with the shelby cobra gt500 golf cart? Been looking for an upgrade everywhere
Send us some pictures of your dash and under your seat and we might be able to help you out! Sloan@bacarts.com
Can you add a sub or rear speakers? I just ordered an evolution, my current cart has marine fronts and backs and a sub under back seat.
Yes we offer a front and rear Speaker option. This video just covers our entry level system. We offer a 4 speaker system that also has a plug n play LED option. Memphis 6.5" marine speakers. Yes, it will fit in a 2022 forester plus. You can view this kit and our other kits on our website here. www.bacarts.com/rent-a-make--store
What options do i have to select to get everything you just installed on this cart ? The options are kind of confusing?
Select the option "Memphis" speaker if you want speakers with the plug n play Amp kit.
If you want to use your touchscreen as head unit (retains radio, let's you play music and videos on thumb drive in USB port, retains phone microphone), then select the touchscreen version. We do, we have the GLD4 plug n play system. www.bacarts.com/rent-a-make--store#!/Evolution-D2-Accessories-Plus-Pro-Forester-Carrier/c/132387548
@@bacartsvw I’m just wanting the harness and speakers I plan to build a rear box how I want it
Can you get just the amp with T-adapters, I have already upgraded speakers.
Yes you can. You can select the option to purchase the Amp with harness and no speakers on our website! www.bacarts.com/rent-a-make--store#!/Evolution-100W-Plug-N-Play-2-Speaker-Sound-System-BRZ2-Touchscreen-Models-Plus-Forester-Carrier/p/492481048/category=141534115
Do you have something in the works for the D5?
Not yet! But we are developing a pnp system for the D5 as we speak and plan to release it by the end of August!
Hi there! Our screen, lights and horn stopped working. Can you help me?
Great demo! Thanks.
Welcome! 😊
Can these be used on the Evolution D3?
They cannot. The only option we provide for D3s right now are 4" JL Audio Speakers.
How many speakers can you wire to that head unit?
This kit has a 2 channel 100watt amp so only two speakers can be ran on this system. The 12volt power wire in the dash is not a heavy enough gauge wire to run a larger amp. We will release a much better, louder, more powerful plug n play system within the next few months.
Do you have the upgraded amp for 4 speakers yet? Thanks
What size speakers are they
How can I get this kit? How much is it?
You can purchase at the link below! Just the kit is $295 and then $395 with entry level speakers and $495 with better speakers. www.bacarts.com/rent-a-make--store
I recently just got a 2024 Evolution S2 Plus , would these speakers work for this cart as well? Thanks
Sure will! Here's link to online store! www.bacarts.com/rent-a-make--store
I would want LED Ring lights. I did not know you need a LED controller. Can you do a video on the LED Ring Installation
Sorry for the delayed response. We will eventually release a plug n play audio kit that also has leds pre wired.
I’m interested in that… Any idea on a timeline for the leds?
@@tythebelieveguy4228 We will never release an led option for this current pnp kit because we don't want to run the amp and led controller off the same small wire in the dash.
