Luda your mermaids are beautiful. I think the way you beaded Mermaid of the Pearls is the most beautiful I've seen. The pearls look like a waterfall cascading down into the ocean depths. So Many Beautiful Mermaids. I have a few in my collection but have yet to start one. I am leaning towards the Queen Mermaid but my mood could change next week. I would still have to get fabric and such so it won't be anytime soon.

Fabulous video. I've watched this one over and over and over. I need to order fabric for three mermaids to represent me and my two daughters. I will stitch Mermaid of the Pearls for my older daughter and Enchanted Mermaid for my younger daughter. They made the choices themselves. It was awesome to see you show them together here! To represent me, I am thinking about Renaissance Mermaid, Emerald Mermaid or Siren and the Shipwreck. I love this video of all of your mermaids. I love your silk conversion for the skin and how you stitch the skin. You have been my inspiration to stitch Mirabilias since last year when I started watching Flosstube. I love your mermaids!! I’ve stitched three and am waiting for fabric for Renaissance Mermaid. I’m now stitching skin 1 over 1, or 2 over 1. Wish I had started this sooner.

Such a beautiful mermaid! I have just started my very first Mirabilia, Cathedral Woods Goddess, I haven't tried beading before so I'm a bit nervous, but it looks really fun! Hopefully one day I'll have the confidence to stitch a piece with so many beads like this mermaid of the pearls haha :)

Wow! What a collection of Mermaids! They all have their special features so it's hard to compare them to each other. If I had to choose favourites, I will say the Enchanted Mermaid and Mermaid of the Pearls. The bigger the better I say! After all that work you want people who see them to say "Wow" !
I admire all of Nora's designs but will probably never stitch them. I have only stitched "Raven Queen". That was enough! But who knows ? Someday there may be a granddaughter who wants a mermaid! Then I will have to come see your Collection again so I can pick one!😺

Cross Stitch With Luda I don't know- guess I just haven't found another one that speaks to me yet like the Raven Queen. For all the work in them and the cost of materials, I'd rather spend it on a project I am in love with. Like my new one - Lila's ~With the Needle 2 !!!!

what fabric did you use?
Luda, your Mirabilias are absolutely stunning! I have Mermaid of the Pearls which I would like to stitch on a Picture This Plus fabric. Do you use 28 count or 32 count when you use Picture This Plus for your mermaids? I understand the fabric shrinks in the dying process and sometimes the beads don't fit as charted on 32 count. What is your experience?
If anyone has the same question I did about 32 count vs 28 count, Luda uses 32 count hand dyed linen and eliminates beads because of crowding due to shrinkage that the hand dying process causes, if you stitch on 28 count hand dyed fabric your beads will fit the design as charted.
