If you can return to work, you don't NEED Disability benefits. Don't double dip. SS was really meant for people that worked all their lives, so they could comfortably retire.
In Canada, LTD benefits are only paid to individuals (through the employer's group benefits plan) that are unable to work due to illness or injury, and stop when you doctor deems you to be well enough to return.

What if i return to work from short term disability and my job is not abailable and they will keep me posted
What if i went out on disability for 2months 10 days to only return to my boss saying my job position has been filled and he will keep me posted
