So Quick Update, Weather got Warm out again to about 70F // 21C - The DryCooler ended up spinning up alot more using 425 Watts and sounded more like an Air Conditioner outside. The outside temperature must play a big part with the way it regulates, pulls power and all.
Should have dug a trench and run your coolant lines to the outdoor unit for some free geo-thermal cooling. You'd be surprised how cool the ground is just below the surface. Try it sometime, it can be a hot summer day of over 100 degrees but dig in the dirt just a few inches down and feel how cool the earth is.
And of course seperate the coolant lines, you don't want the hot line directly in contact with the "cold" line for obvious reasons. The difference is negligible, but still worth considering! @@TheHobbyistMiner
THM this is awesome 👏 truly like this setup much better that others! as for the low wattage I know you did not do any turn however you are running Hiveos in the miners thus you are using Hiveos default tune no longer BItmain tune, Hiveos default tune is not the same as Bitmain default tune, so you are getting 2600w with the Hiveos default tune, still very awesome results.
all that for cooling 2 asics? feels like the outside unit can cool 4-5 asics easy :D 2 asics like 200 th/s? may be a little more. Not sure buddy looking good though. after halving they will make nothing really.
Hi @TheHobbyistMiner! I’ve been wanting to get into Bitcoin mining for quite sometime but can’t quite nail down all the hardware and software orchestration needed to be successful. I know many people find the set up and maintenance to be above their (our) heads. Would absolutely love to see some vidz on how to, considerations, must haves, etc that any simpleton could understand! 😂 anywho It would be incredible valuable to the newbies like me.
I have loads of videos on this. Go back to my oldest video, I say that because I was in your exact place than. I recorded my journey learning. Start there, should be super helpful for you. If not jump in the discord, loads of us hanging out in there willing to help.
The easiest way to get an SD card slot (which makes trying different firmware and doing upgrades so much simpler) is to replace the control board with one that does have an SD slot. It's a pretty simple change, and not that expensive. ua-cam.com/video/PmpaumX3p9g/v-deo.html

Also I think the 440w for the dry cooler includes the pump no? So you have to combine both numbers, still 270w for the full system is amazing!
Yeah going to do more testing and videos on Overclocking with the HIVEOS tune here soon.
440w for the Drycooler and 250 for the Tank
Quick question is submerged cooling quieter than the general asic when using air to cool if so what is the average db
It's an Asic Spa lol Awesome video Hobbyist!
ASIC SPA, love it!
I have to say the mining game has completely changed since I partook many moons ago on my personal gaming rig.
Your not wrong! Every year it's taken to the next level!
That’s badass!!!
I am loving it!
Very sweet setup!
❤
Thank you! 🤗
These are cool!
I am super happy with it! Wish I got the 6 ASIC Tank lol
@@TheHobbyistMiner looks like this could be a game changer for home mining, sounded like almost no noise coming from the tank!
Tank was silent. Love it!
To cool!

Hot tub stream, should be live at least, Good to see this kind of product video, keep giving us update :)
Eager to do more!
Curious why you are going HiveOS vs LuxOS. I'm currently exploring various OS for my new asics.
I went with HIVEOS for now as a test. I will be trying a few different ones out there.
Fomo fomo spend 30k now
How many TH are you getting and what j/T
My man is a clutz. Next up....Im waiting for him to drop his camera into the cooling oil tanks!
