    + YOTO Player
Our family loves Yoto players; we have more than I care to admit! The Yoto player has allowed my children to independently select stories and music to listen to during downtime, quiet time, road trips, and more. I love that I can provide them with a wide variety of approved content, from audiobooks to music and podcasts. Click here prz.io/mD2e1g1i8 for 10% off your first order of $69.99 or more.
    + Audible:
Audible has helped me keep up my reading even when days are hectic. Audible has also saved "quiet time" in our house - I think the kids listen more than I do at this point! Click here for up to 2 free audible books: amzn.to/3bloFKq

Loved this video!!! When looking for science for next year NLS was one I looked into and I liked. When researching though several people said they felt it was really boring and felt outdated. I know every kid/family is different but that deterred me from moving forward. Might have to give it another look!

I mean, it depends on your teaching style. It is no frills, that is for sure. But, I don't think there is anything wrong with that. Just depends on what you are looking for. I think programs that seem "traditional" feel...not homeschooly enough for some folks.

Would you say this is specific to grade 1, or could a second grader along with a kindergartner use this at the same time?

I think you could merge K and 2nd, but I you will likley need to beef it up a bit for your 2nd grader. I'd probably do 2nd and just have the K kiddo along for the ride.

So instead of doing family style for science your two oldest are getting individual science lessons? Or are you swapping books and topics based on family interest?

Yes, they are getting all their content area learning independently now. Family style worked for us, until it didn’t. My son, at almost 10 needs different content than my 7.5 yr old daughter.
