*Rory.* Thanks for this 🥰 BMF is *the* fave SG album for many fans ♥️ Every track is so intense! So happy you're doing the album - you need all of these songs in your life, I think. In the earlier albums, Chris' voice had that siren quality... but by BMF, he had perfected his fierce growl in addition to the fiery wail ♥️ These tunes for me will always = Chris Cornell on top of the world (lion's roar & long-haired mane, shirtless, stompfest) 😎🤘🔥♥️
I love the stinkface starting around 2:22 when that riff sets in, probably a lot like I did 30+ years ago. "Outshined" was the first Soundgarden I heard when it was released as a single in '91. I got the album and it's when I got to "Searching with my Good Eye Closed" that I knew this was going to be one of my favorite all-time albums.
I used to turn up the volume at the end of Searching to hear as much of the fade out as possible, then the crash into Room made me jump.
The 90s soundgarden albuns are so good!!
The Beatles references are the best! I feel you bro

Room a Thousand Years Wide crushes. Listened to it on a loop in the gym the other day lol. Nice job, Rory
Think album was one of my introductions to grunge..
It definitely is a hard album when the closest thing you get to a break from slamming rock is a song called "Mind Riot".
