It's really amazing when you see the performances of this song after the reunion and Chris hit it the same 🙌

There's a demo of this from 85, which is the earliest recording I know of, which shows Kim thayil soloing cleanly without the dirty feedback and distorted harmonics. I think it's a privilege to watch kids learn how to play and develop their sound. These guys just had the ability to make a three note arpeggio riff sound better than 99% of the virtuoso rock bands

It’s Phyrific Victory(?) a compilation from 1985 which has the band a three piece with Chris still playing the drums. Sounds so raw and primal.

By far my favorite “groove” by Soundgarden. Great blues style fills and solos. You nailed it.

Hey Rory! So cool to see someone discover Chris Cornell ie: Soundgarden and Audislave and Temple of the Dog. Chris was one of a kind. Very empathic and kind. Incessant Mace I believe was about his father who he had a very tempestuous realationship with. So good a musician he had Three bands. Listen to What You Are by AudioSlave. It’s about his ex wife.

Great pick, @Carnivorouslunaractivity! His voice ripened into full Cornell Manly Beast mode just a couple yrs later. 🔥

Glad to see a fan that knows the obscure stuff that gets overlooked! It was always fun seeing Chris live through the stages of his career. These days new artists don't want to touch a musical instrument and put in the effort, just lazy computer programming and samples

I've witnessed so many reaction channels and videos in the past two years. Most of them follow the same formula. Your approach is different. Real. Thank you.
England or Ireland? Greetings from Finland. Zappa, Norm, grunge, metal, keep 'em coming.

If you get the chance listen to some Free and Bad Company. If you never have you’re missing out. Paul Rodgers is one of the best singers I’ve heard live. He’s the real deal. His nickname is The Voice. You will love how bluesy he sings.
