All I can say is WOW I’ve be watching Cheech and Flaggler for quite some time. I’m amazed at what U2 can do and also Rosenbaum I’m 70 it’s been 15 yrs since I’ve tied my last fly had a car accident but you three have got my juices flowing so I’m back in the game thank you for making these videos
Hola Muchachos! One of the best #FlyFishFood , didn't think it was a competition, but..well...maybe! Two of my favourite fly tyers in a battle...lol. 😆 Awesome to see you both chatting and showing 'tips & tricks'. Golden Dorado is bucket list of course, but the lodges you spent time with in S.America, Cheech, is on there too. Safe travels, Cheech and entourage. Congrats on the 'BBQ Master' designation last trip...maybe you will open a restaurant just for chicharron! Thanks guys, great one... keep them coming!
Two of my all time favorite fly tiers. Cheech with your hotdog sized fingers, you always amaze me with your finished product. Tim I’ve been watching you for years.
I'm glad the rest of the world got the priveledge of hearing Cheech's Newfie. Was hilarious to hear in the shop when my wife and I introduced ourselves as Canadians a couple years ago 😂
Just got back from a three day trip to the Willowemoc. water is low and very clear. This morning at 4:30 a.m. torrential storm blew thru rained hard for 2 solid hours. Creeks were already responding to the rain. from NY state. Thanks for the video
As a fairly new tier, it looked to me that Tim used up all his really long feathers from that Blue Whiting cape so where do you find enough humongous feathers for more than one fly?
Tim, it looks like those tails on the Argentina flies were made using Rhea feathers. I would bet most of the feather dusters in the US are made with turkey feathers or some other domestic bird. Great flies tied by both!
I was rewatching this today as I love to see the two or three of you guys tying together as you always present a world of different ideas and techniques and skills but the reason for this message is Tim’s comments on the drought last summer. “God” if you’re listening please let’s not do that again. Last summer was almost with the possible exception of a few tailwaters without any fishable waters here in Maryland. ( not too far from Jersey ).
In round numbers how much dinero are we talking for a trip like this with or without airfares as we’re all coming from different points around the country.
I hunted moose in Newfoundland on a number of occasions, and I got hooked on drinking tea with evaporated milk. It's a great place. About the only game in town here in CT is the West Branch of the Farmington and its very low conditions but the dry fly fishing has been great. Some rain moved thru today but it's not enough. Its the first day of fall and I even had to put on a jacket. It's cooling off.
