As I sit here at 11:36 PM on Christmas Eve of 2022, I listen to the final narration and realize that there is no greater gift to give than forgiveness. Christmas has always been a tough time for me; I am not fond of the commercialism and I have been hurt by religious people in my life. But this story taught me that you never know what’s going on in someone’s life, and that you should give them the benefit of the doubt. Merry Christmas to all who read this. God bless us, everyone.
The Trans-Siberian Orchestra are as important to Christmas as Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye . Listening to their music, will put ANYONE in the Christmas Spirit.
Part of me wanted to skip Christmas after losing two family members this year... but another part wants to embrace it even more. We are not here for long. Enjoy what really makes you happy!
Keep them in your heart, there they live forever. Remember and hold them close, I've traveled this same road, and those on the other side help to guide me. May it also be that way with you.
I was like that in 2014 and 2015 I had miscarried right before Christmas one year and my mother passed away right before Christmas the year before. Christmas is the hardest for me.
Losing my Da at 19 was devastating but he asked to keep going. To never forget him, to take care of my mom, to know he'd be with me always. On my wedding I was calm joyful. My family waited for me to fall apart, they knew I was still going to dance a father daughter dance. My brother was who I would dance with here but I'd dance with my dad in my heart. Well as the song started I started to break down but as I took my brother's hand it was my Da dancing with me. When the pictures came back our photographer was very upset with himself. My brother and I look out of focus. Everything else is crisp and in focus. My father was right there. Lol I believed that day but when we looked at each other my husband and I, he said oh my God he really was there. My point why I tell this story life is short but in the moments when you are given the chance to believe you see it's not...
It will make you regret it if you felt like skipping Christmas would make sense. The best thing to do when you’re grieving is to keep everything as usual as possible because what you’re doing is that you don’t have to change your life and make it hurt more because of what you experienced that you couldn’t control. May you never rob yourself of happiness as long as you live with your experiences.
Just got home from my first ever Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert today and I honestly had one of the best times of my life by far. If you have the spare time and money to attend then you definitely should try to make it to the next available show
Was having a particularly shitty Christmas one year, and the radio played some stuff from an album called Lost Christmas Eve. Changed the holidays right side up again! TSO doesn't do Christmas, They do a TRIBUTE to Christmas. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
It’s a heavy-metal Christmas for me every year. I still need to go see Trans-Siberian Orchestra in person. I’ve been wanting to do this for 20 years or so. Wow I’m getting old. Heavy-metal never dies.
the part of the school of hard rock where Jack Black talks about melting your face.... yea the lasers ant the guitars in the Christmas show will melt your face! its worth the trip! i have watched it 4 times on various parts of the country and it gets me excited to know they are close by.
This, it seems to me, that this music keeps the magic of Christmas with us all the year long. So how do show gratitude for such a gift? Maybe if we share it with each other...be it so.
Loved them since the Savatage days, a band that never got the status they truly deserved . The sound , the lyrics and the story each album tells is true talent, which can not be touched . The presentation TSO preforms speaks for itself. Phenomenal all the way around , the Savatage that comes through in the show makes it that much more powerful for me . After seeing the show live there are no words to describe how amazing they truly are.
I still have this on CD (purchased decades ago) and I still love to break it out regularly. So excited to see it available here, too. 25 years later, and you guys haven't missed a beat.
This is Christmas music that can be listened to all year long. I'm listening to this as I'm preparing today's Thanksgiving dinner, it gives me a sense of comfort, and I am most thankful for all that I have. May all of us find this thankfulness...May it be so, for each of us. Happy Holidays to all.
I listen to TSO all year! It brings joy every time I listen! I saw them live and was completely immersed into the music! I didn't want the show to end!!!
Every year when I hear this narration and music, I cry. Never fails. I'm a wife and mom; it's so heartbreakingly beautiful. The torture and heartache and pain I feel deeply. But also the relief and burst of love, the flood gates of all that a desperate, anguished, disappointing life exploding, cascading into a deep pool of peace. Thank you TSO for the reality and not being afraid to address such sensitive issues. This is my favorite Christmas story because of the realism and emotions it evokes. Thank you so very, very much.
A Christmas story, and each of their Christmas music has a story worth listening to. There is a lesson for each of us...if only we will listen. Let us learn to listen, and share with all others, everywhere.
@@normvw4053 I share The Trans-Siberian Orchestra with everyone I know. My dad 72, and he likes them, after I took him to a concert. And you got to understand, me and my dad don’t agree on too much.
No better band to put you in the Christmas Spirit. Took my now wife to see them last year as her first rock concert ever. Can't wait to see them again in a couple weeks!
I found TSO right around the time they started performing live, I've been to several of their concerts and loved everyone of them, taken several friends through out the years, the last one the violinist was standing right behind me playing how awesome, the get out and jam amongst the crowd, never had that at a concert, I met Chris many years ago and a 4th of July gathering in Scranton Pa, what a nice man. They are the Greatest Of All Time. Not just for their Christmas music, but all the music 🎵🎶🎵🎶.
So a few months back I lost my mom. She always loved Christmas and this is the first Christmas without her around as I was listening to this it brought back feelings of Christmas's past. We would sit and listen to stories like this we actually watched that live tv show produced by TSO a while back. This entire video actually brought tears to my eyes. Can I just say thank you TSO you brought a smile to this grieving son.
Fantastic! I've seen them many times over the years and the shows are amazing. Love this narrated version. Hope they do narrated versions of all the albums!😍🥰🎼🎵🎶
The BEST of the BEST of the Holiday Season. Saw them 3 times in Denver, once in Colorado Springs, now twice in Nashville, since we moved here in 2019 (including this year's show), plus the Streaming version in 2020! Will never get enough of these folks and hope to see them every year until I pass into the next realm, where I will listen to them, too!
I'm a TSO follower .Meeting Paul the creator of the iconic band on one of my flights was the beginning. Then by a magical moment through a special friend knew Greg Hildebrandt who illustrated TSO story catalogs. Every since it's a gift to go to their yearly concert.
My (then) 12 year old came with us 2 years ago as his birthday gift and was lucky enough to get a guitar pick that he showed off everywhere!! When his wallet (including pick) was left behind during a vacation, he was devastated😞. Cant wait to bring him to uncasville again this year though!!! TY TSO for the tradition❤️❤️❤️
We've seen the West Coast band here since 1997. I love this venue. For a change. we decided to see the East Coast band in Charlotte, NC. We were amazed at the energy and audience participation. Completely different experience. I was hoping to see the lights going up and down like last year's concert but they didn't do that there. Next year we're going to Uncasville because we like the name.
Christmas Eve Sarevo played at the closing night of The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights in Disneys Hollywood Studios 5 years ago…. My daughter’s favorite. TSO song. We cried all the way out of the park. Lovely memory
I can't wait till I get to see these guys next month at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, VA. Had tickets to see them last year and ended up getting covid and couldn't go. Definitely one of my bucket list items.
I saw this band as a kid 20 years ago and I've probably seen them 8 times since. Absolutely amazing from beacon theater NY to the shows they put on today. 🤘🤘🤘
I really think we should all consider anything Trans-Siberian Orchestra makes should qualify as Christmas music and as holiday classics. Their holiday rock and roll is what speaks to the soul. You just feel it.

I am very happy that this really focuses on the true meaning of Christmas which is the birth of Jesus Christ and the amazing gift that God gave us through that. major props.
this narrated version is simply the best!! glad to have found it here so i can listen to it (i just need to buy a cd or something so i can have it forever)
These guys are great. I think they would agree with me that you should try Hampton String Quartet "What if Mozart Wrote..." 2 CDs of Christmas music. It's not heavy, it's chamber music. Give it a shot.
This is awesome. I have seen Ghosts of Christmas Eve live and Christmas Eve and Other Stories Live. Never this so this awesome. Also I know TSO used to do Beethoven’s Last Night Tours but I never saw. Started to follow them after that. So so happy for tomorrow when they put that with narration November 4. as awesome as this is... it is NOTHING compared to seeing it performed live. Probably the greatest stage show of any metal band ever... PERIOD.

Best concert I have ever been to and I’ve been to a few other artist’s show but this is by far the best band live.

For one month every year, the whole world loves Prog Metal.
