On December 15, 2021, one year after my liver transplant on 12/15/20, which was followed by a Code Blue on 12/22/20, I posted a message with a link to this song. After 12/22/20, I was "out of it" (delirium in medical terms) for the next 3 1/2 to 4 weeks in ICU. I literally missed Christmas. This song was the first song that came up on my cell phone on 12/15/21. What a beautiful song and what a blessing! I cried as I watched the wonderful rendition of this song. There is one reason why I am still alive and that is God. By his grace, I am still here to make more precious memories with my family and friends. Merry Christmas to all who read this little note! Take Care!

I've seen the grace of God in my life afterwards too, but sometimes I've been too stubborn or hard hearted to acknowledge them. I'm not Mormon. I'm not Christian at all. I'm Jewish and do not believe that Jesus was the Messiah. However, I firmly respect every single persons religious views and will never tell them what they believe is wrong. I also find every religion beautiful; I went to my college's Candlelight Carols service the past two years. I have always found this song absolutely gorgeous and this arrangement/melody makes it even more wonderful! Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates it, and happy holidays to everyone!

This is probably the only orchestral/choral version of a song that literally brought me to my knees crying when I first heard it. This, from a musical stand point, could be considered one of the most inspirational chord progressions ever devised. Coupled with a choir that size and musicians that skilled....I just can't stand against it's breath taking beauty. Never had a song affect me as deeply as this one.

And Jesus had close female friends as well the famous 12 male disciples. And when our Lord was taken to be crucified, even the patriarchal men who wrote the New Testament felt compelled to mention that He was followed to the cross by a great crowd of women. And when He died and rose and came back, the first person He spoke to was a woman. The Lord was, and is, on our side. Indeed, my feminism is directly inspired by the teachings of Christ.

I'm not religious at all and I don't believe in God but I think celebrating the life and message of someone like Jesus who stood up for the poor and always taught a message of love and forgiveness is actually a good thing no matter what. You don't have to be a Christian or to be religious at all to be able to acknowledge at least that much. We should all use and see Christmas as a holiday of love, peace and understanding, a day on which we cherish the gift of life. In the end, we all just want to have a good and happy life, living in peace with our close ones and neighbours, don't we? So I thank the Piano Guys for this awesome song and video and the joy they brought to many of us listeners with their work. Happy Christmas to everyone out there! :)

Just an idea in philosophy
It's an interesting question. I suppose it could come with another question, which is, why do I believe that Jesus is part of that higher power? Seeing as we don't see all things, we can't measure them, but I suppose with the idea that there is a higher power, then maybe we can't measure it, but at least we can feel and recognize its power. Why I believe that God and Christ are behind that, is that whenever I've felt anything that speaks of something higher, it has been the strongest when in relation to anything to do with God, or when it has been in relation to the Savior, Jesus. It's not for me to say it to convince anyone, but to share what I know. All I can say, is that if you seek it, perhaps you'll find that same relationship between that power and Christ, too. Not necessarily just on a philosophical level, but one that transcends words and even existence.
We feel so blessed to have been a part of this incredibly beautiful and moving collaboration! Such a great reminder of how we can center our celebrations around the birth of our Savior this Christmas season. #ShareTheGIft

I am not and have never been Christian, but as a member of a religion whose hymns and music were lost to destruction a long time ago, and as a lover of beautiful music, I always love to hear the wonderful songs and hymns produced by other religions. They always speak of love and hope, and I can only hope more people will stop seeing religion as a divider, and more as a piece of world culture that makes us all different and unique, but still brothers and sisters. Whether you're Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Pagan, Lunasian like me, or anything else, we can all share our religious experiences and what we've learned to make us all better people. The world could use some of that right now, rather than conversion and division.

Taiylor Wallace I agree that we could all show more love than anger, bitterness, or judgement. I've learned that It's easier to look beyond differences when I see the person as having dreams, struggles, and family just like I have dreams, struggles, and a family. I think dialogue would help a lot with getting along with each other because this would stop usually unintended isolation and bring people closer as communities. There's so much to learn if we just talked to each other and valued that person enough to listen. Honestly, I'll admit that being open just to learn can be hard for me in certain things because I feel like sometimes I place proving a point over genuine listening, which Jesus has taught me is wrong because to Jesus, the people are more important than me being right. Jesus is the one who saw value in what everyone else would call trash, untouchable, or too far gone. He talked to a Samaritan women when it was the cultural norm to not involve with that nationality, and she the spread the Gospel to her town even though she might not have been most people's first choice since she had been married five times. John 4:7-42. He valued a woman who was a sinner for he defended her in front of the religious leaders when in the leader's home, this woman interrupted a meal by throwing herself at Jesus's feet and began to wipe his feet with her hair and tears. To Jesus, I think, this woman's actions were more welcome and maybe honorable to him because they were done out of love and intense gratitude. Luke 7:36-49. He valued the untouchables in Jewish society because He brought healing to those who skin disease forced them to live outside the city. Luke 5:12-13. He reached the thief on the cross showing that it's never too late to repent and no one is ever too far gone. Luke 23:43. Therefore, I'm forever grateful that Jesus helps me to love others by giving me His love to others and being patient with me when I make mistakes. 1 John 4:19 He's so merciful because he doesn't hold our mistakes or failures against us because he says, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9 Also, I have a question, what does it mean to be a Lunasian? This is absolutely gorgeous, never ever have I seen a "modern" christmas song that good, even though there are hundreds of awesome christmas songs out there, this one really takes the cake! The amount of effort and time spent in this is tremendous, it's not like they just make the song, DONE. They really put a great amount effort in the music video as well, I like that it features the instruments and all that! And plus, the ending is REALLY gorgeous. I am a christian, and I believe in God, so i feel like i have a strong connection with christmas songs, and this is the song that made me proud of being what I am, a christian. That is definitely true. Great music can be appreciated by anyone who is able to recognize it as great.
But I pretty much understand the people who are writing that, what you mentioned. Something (in this case a song) just makes you happy that you believe, what you believe. Or to be accurate it makes you happy that there is one God, who enables us to recognize him to a certain extent. (Which I suppose lies under the statement "thank God I´m christian")

I am glad I am a Christian because I believe in the holy truth that is Gods Word. I feel bad for people who try and mix religions and saying Islam is the same as being Christian... I pray that people would educate themselves more and not say, "everyone religion is the same!! Let's just love one another!!" Because yes, the greatest commandment is *Matthew **19:19*, "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." But we can't truly love one another unless we have a true love for the one and ONLY God.

The fact that Jehovah witnesses say Jesus is a lesser God completely throws these verses out of the window. So there will be indeed many false religions and people who are here too, "bring peace," but the only true peace we can find is through Jesus Christ our Lord. Please, my beloved, don't fall into the trap of, "multifaith," it is of the devil.

I am a Baptist and we take the Word of God very seriously. I mean, isn't that how it's supposed to be?? Not, "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And maybe he even did some other things that the Bible doesn't even mention! Like evolution!!" We don't get to pick and choose, or even add on to the Bible.

That seems to be exactly what Catholics, Mormons, Jehovah's witnesses, and so many other religions seem to be doing today.
I am just nothing but a cry in the wilderness trying to warn people of the wickedness in this world.

I agree about music.:) I think it has a great power to unite people because you're right, we can all enjoy a well played melody or encouraging tune. With all the changes and turmoil in the world today, I think it's important that we have firm footing under us for our future. So, I want to share with you my search for a foundation and for what truth was. I felt lost when I was in college. Although, God did not leave me during this time because he sent two mentors into my life to teach me and other events and classes about the Bible even when I had told no one what I especially struggling with. There were so many things I was taught, but one thing that helped restore my faith in the truth of the Bible was that I found that the things I was struggling with in my behavior and thought life were the same as Paul's the apostle struggles in the Bible. He said, "For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate." ( Romans 7:15). Since this is what I was feeling, it helped me get back to believing in Jesus and the truth in the Bible. This is what I found when I was looking for the truth, I found that Jesus really is who He says He is. Jesus loves you Lost XI! Hope you have a great Christmas! Praying that you'd find your way. " For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person--though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die--but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ for us." In the Bible, Angels were usually the harbingers of God's wrath. It was the Angel of Death that brought the final plague upon Egypt, as a fairly infamous example. And there are numerous other examples like this. Plus, in Jesus' time, it had been more than 400 years since the Holy Spirit had been thought active in Israel (no phophets since Malachi). So, it was completely understandable why the Shepherds were terrified. But hearing an angel saying "Fear not, I have good news" was literally world shattering. And we hear it on three separate occasions before Jesus' birth. This was news for all of Creation, showing that Man, "those with whom he is pleased", finally could be free of the punishment of Sin. God sent his Son to die for our Sins, so that in Him we can be welcomed back into God's arms without any punishment. Because Jesus, the Messiah has already paid it in full.
The reason that this music is so beautiful and heartwarming is because it's God's own words, proclaiming that all nations can finally be able to return home. It really is good news.

I know all this information that you bring, and honestly, it makes no difference ... my praise is unaffected by the date He finally incarnated on this earth (have you ever studied this process in the book Ascension of Isaiah?), my worship is not affected by the number of people that he visited at his birth, so little whether the feast is pagan or not ... My adoration and the message I preach in my life is that a savior was born to us who died for us, but He lives and is ready to seek us.
