- Guy Madison plays Marshal Wild Bill Hickok, with Andy Devine as his pal "Jingles," Deputy Marshal Jingles P. Jones. In this TV episode the bad guys are trying to take away grandpa's granddaughter, inferring he is unfit to take care of her. I wonder if they have an ulterior motive! Complete with Kellogg's Sugar Pop commercials, shot from guns! This popular western television series ran eight seasons, but is seldom seen today. Transferred from 16mm b-w film.

I recall watching this on tv back in the 50’s.
Me too!
There's George Cleveland (gramps) from the 1954 to 1957 Lassie tv show born in Sydney, Nova Scotia 🇨🇦😊
Love it! Thank you!~
Thank you too!
At the time, Guy Madison and Andy Devine were also heard as "Wild Bill" and "Jingles" on the *radio* version of "WILD BILL HICKOK" (for Kellogg's), three afternoons a week [Monday/Wednesday/Friday] on Mutual, at 5:30pm(et).
Those were the days, remember them well. (so far)
Thanks for Wild Bill. Do you have anymore episodes?
I believe this is the only one in our collection. We are always looking for more network TV shows on 16mm/ 35mm film, so contact us if you ever come across any. Glad you enjoyed the episode we uploaded. It sure was full of gun blazing action.
Wish you had the last 13 shows in color (made by Screen Gems).
