Everything about this is absolutely insane. The animation feels like a 90s cartoon fever dream, the music is intense and poignant, and the lyrics go straight for the jugular as soon as possible. I love this so goddamn much.

I LOVE IT!
I love all of the ridiculous influences coming together here. It's absurdism at its finest and am one hundred percent here for it.
It seems like a lot of the metal side seems very entrenched in the early to mid 90s.
The drums? Pure Igor Cavalera. Those beats are near and dear my heart. I just can't help wanting to move when I hear them. (And listen to Ratamahatta again). The bass is... I'm not sure, somewhere between Suicidal Tendencies' Send Me Your Money and Sean Yseult's tenure with White Zombie. The guitars immediately brought visions of the opening of Finntroll's Under Bergets Rot. The vocals. Man, the vocals are all over the place in the most insane, beautiful way imaginable: Les Claypool level weirdness coupled with a delivery that brings to mind Mike Patton and... something else that's driving me absolutely mad.
It's right there on the tip of my tongue. Hiding right in the corner of my eye. I guess I'm just going to have to listen to it on repeat until I figure it out.
What. A. Shame. That. Will. Be.
The female vocals remind me of Die Antwoord, e.g. Baby's on Fire. No idea if there's any direct inspiration, but I wouldn't rule it out for a group this eclectic.
Truillo's former band before joining Metallica is what maybe comes to mind: infectious grooves

They never disappoint, always fusing multiple influences and somehow making it work cohesively with the added benefit of being very fun to listen to. Eclectic music at its finest.

WOW. HAD NO IDEA WHERE THIS ANIMATION WAS GOING. I AM SO STUNNED BY THE ALBUM. It is perceived well. Love the intro all the way down to “Saluting the Reckoning”, which was different, but I loved it nonetheless, down to “Overture To A Ceasefire”, and repeat. I’ve had the album on repeat for a while, and playing DSO on a constant loop. I’m not crazy. I really love DSO.

Loved the samba and Sepultura elements in the song. Coincidentally, the lyrics also bring a little bit of the chaos in Brazil today. Loved it all. Exceptional song, as always.

If anyone wanted to listen to your music in lo-fi, they could use some cheap speakers or play with EQ. I know most people don't have an ear for quality audio, but that doesn't mean those who do should suffer.
What is even the point of releasing 16/48 lossless on Apple Music if the spectrum above 13-14 kHz is basically cut off? It literally sounds worse than a 192 kb/s MP3.
