    Currently playing this shaft 6.5 TX 70g at 45 inches with and M5 head! Looks incredible and dispersion for me has been awesome as well! I will say that to me the shaft feels smooth but I agree with Matt that it needs your full attention when driving the ball you can’t really hold back on one but if you want to take off distance tee it low and play that cut! Loved the review TXG! Keep it up!

He carried all the trees, took a line toward the pin and from what I heard, just had a little chip onto the green. Estimate that was about 330 - 340 yard carry. It was insaaanneeee to see in person. I think the big difference between Matt and Cameron is the amount of force generated by Cameron's legs, hips and upper body. If you watch Cameron he doesn't start swinging with his arms till his club is almost parallel to the ground on the downswing. Cameron holds the club back and generates tremendous force with his rotation and legs. Matt still pulls his club down from the top. The ability to hold back and generate force from the ground eludes most people. For a lesson on how to do it watch this slow motion video of Cameron. ua-cam.com/video/1on8RQdQflk/v-deo.html

    Matt obviously has a lot of speed and can play TX in most shafts. Given the profile of this shaft, would this be similar to say the hzrdus t1100 in the sense that folks should flex down? Could Matt still see the tight dispersion he's seeing but get a little life out of the shaft by going down into the non-TX 6.5? I see they also make a 6.0 (stiff). I almost wonder that if you're slow enough to need the 6.0, then this hzrdus green profile probably isn't for you anyway, so why make this?

      If that means tennis elbow then yes! 🤣 The brace has been helping but it is a nagging issue

    • @andrewooo001
      @andrewooo001 5 років тому +1

      TXG Tour Experience Golf lateral epi would be tennis elbow 😂😂😂.
      Prob info you already know, but it's important to understand what causes the pain in order to address it properly. You have micro tears in your wrist and fingers muscles origin at the lateral epicondyle (bony part of the side of the elbow). This is usually caused by overstressing the muscle through repetitive motion (safe to assume it's bc Matty hits a billion balls a week). The problem is that this area is poorly vascularized, therefore takes a very long time to heal. Motion and activities that exacerbate symptoms are forceful gripping and wrist extension (bending wrist backwards).
      I'll tell you right off the bat that there isn't a quick fix for it. Takes time, it needs rest, and a few other things that help along the way. Going to therapy is not a bad idea - modalities such as ultrasound, light therapy, etc can help; but that alone won't do it. You need to stretch your wrist a lot along with massaging your muscles of the forearm to release the tension on your micro tears. But above all things you need to rest it and it needs TIME (like I said there's no quick fix).
      I had tennis elbow on my lead elbow due to golf and it took me about 1 year to fully recover (mind you that I was my first and last patient of the day everyday). Like I said I'm a therapist and I have access to all these "tools" and it still took me a long time. But my tennis elbow case was pretty severe. I don't think Matt's case will take this long if it's addressed early and properly.
      I have a few PDF files and resources I can send you if you want. Idk how this DM thing works but if you send me your email address I can email them to you.
      One last thing - ice massaging the area for 5 minutes at the end of the day helped a lot as well. If ppl tell that you need to strengthen your arm, it could be a trap. Yes you need to strengthen it, but at the right time. You need to be pain free first.
      Let me know if you want some of the resources. I'd love to help!
      Cheers! ✌️✌️✌️

      @@clubchampionmedia Thanks for going in search of that one for me. 74g still amazes me. I wonder what weight he snaps. Thanks again guys. Keep'em coming.

    What’s causing the swing weight to be so high?

    • @clubchampionmedia
      @clubchampionmedia  5 років тому

      heavy head weight on G410, low (ish) balance point on the shaft

    Has Matt been making some swing changes? He doesn't seem to be standing as tall as he has at times in the past.

    If he felt the TX version was too stiff wouldn’t the regular X be better? He was killing the TX but maybe the regular C would feel better?!??

    For a shaft that you said really doesn't fit you, your dispersion is impressive.

    Put my TP 1.5* adapter on a cement steel rod instead of this shaft for more stability.
